Blakey 1 yr old fell terrier
Blakey had been homed many times and his most recent home called 6.30 pm having had him 24 hrs he had biten 2 people and the dog..he was being taken to Battersea tonight..which would have meant certain PTS. I jumped in the car to meet the family. Blakey came as terrified little mixed up pup..he was going for my hand controlling the gear stick as I drove; purposefully having him in the front else he would have guarded the back or crate not being able to get to him. I had to stay in the car for an hour because I couldn't release him without him biting me..then we walked the streets at midnight to win trust..not knowing where I could put him. In the first week he stayed in our bedroom. We unable to take his lead off or put a disc in. He bonded with Lorenzo and despite us both being biten, me many times, he developed trust. He then mixed with the dogs and went from strength to strength. He was such a sweet loving soul who was so wary of human nature yet sooo desperate to be loved
Jo and Gary spotted him and despite all his problems were terrier people and opened their hearts to him. But 3 months on he developed an ear infection and despite hugh problems they managed to treat him. Then it came back and no way would he let them near him..the vets tried but he was turning into a frightened wild thing and in pain. Unbelievably he had to be put to sleep today: His fears resurfaced and he couldn't accept the help he needed
He will be with Jo and Gary forever...such a sweetheart we loved him sooo much
