Bengi Jack Russell Wire-haired 10.07.06 Godalming SurreyBengi was surrendered into the pound. Was very nervous in the pound and when he came off the van but soon settled. We didn't see this when he arrived at the kennels. Lovely walk with Emily, a look as the cat..there you are I've seen you 'so what' attitude and he was off to see something else..lots to see! He is excellent with other dogs. He is wire haired but the pound clippered it off as it was matted, so will need 'fur care' in future.
Lovely boy..he has only booked 3 nights with us does he know something we don't!

Bengi has been put on trial only because he has to jell not turn to jelly with Dick the cat! Spin along with Daisy a princess JackRussell who is semi resident
and prove the very good start that has developed with Badger the nextdoors dog is friends for life.
Badger was put out of the way after a great start...here he is being good "if only he could get through this bxxxxy catflap theres a new lad nextdoor"!

Benji - JRT rehomed @ GodalmingJust a quick update on Benji.
He is settling in very well.
Originally some problems sleeping (separation anxiety) - so a couple of sleepness nights for Sarah & I. Now no problems.
Eating well and health good.
He loves going for walks (especially now that he has found the new game of fetching sticks).
Nothing seems to faze/scare him. He is great with kids (all ages), doesn't chase anything (apart from the semi-resident cat "Dick" - this is a work in progress, but we'll get there).
Cars & cyclists are fine. He plays fine with other dogs, yet learning quickly some don't want to play.
We went for a nice long walk @ Hydons Ball to the triangulation point (see photo "Benji - Prince of South Downs and our hearts") where a squirrel dropped out of a tree not 5 feet from him. He hardly batted an eyelid - I was amazed.
Sarah & I are extremely happy and honoured that Benji is now part of our lives.
We cannot thank Rescue Remedies enough.
They were kind, courteous and professional. They answered all our questions and concerns without hesitation.
Dee & Lynne also gave great advice on all manner of things (e.g. food, introducing kids and cats, boundaries for Benji, etc.)
