BBC NEWS 21st May 2009Hi all,I'm just sitting at my desk at work, eating my cornflakes and having a quick look at the news. I found a story we are all too aware of and it breaks all of our hearts to see. Bringing a tear to my eye!!! please see the below link to the BBC news website. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8060461.stm Will people ever learn to handle and care for there dogs responsibly, especially bull breads, Rotties and Mastiffs??? Everyone at rescue remedies works so hard for such a small number of these poor dogs and it is great to see. It's seeing these stories that makes me wish i could do so much more to help!!!! Rhea |

Hi Rhea,
I think it is just such a deep seated problem particularly with young men in this country, just unfortunate that the innocent dogs have been dragged into it. I think at least now there is more speculation about the real problem - criminal and antisocial use of the dogs. A group of people who have no respect for human or animal. Alison |
