Abandoned Terriers in NorfolkCrossposted from another site. This item is out of date but wanted still to flag it up in case anything still needs doing. I have asked the rescue referred to for an update.

These dogs need your help. A group of dogs, reports vary from 11 to 45, terrier type dogs were dumped Wednesday 10th December at Flordon Road Newton Flotman Norfolk. Three of the dogs have been caught and taken to a local animal sanctuary, three have been injured on the road and died of those injuries, one being found dead in the nearby woods two days after being seen to be hit by a car. One is definitely still in the area and a local worker is feeding and trying to catch him. Others may still be in the area, but there have been reports of some being seen in the Intwood, East Carleton areas and heading towards Keswick nr. Norwich. PACT are organising signs and search/catching parties if we can pinpoint their locations. We desperately need sightings so that we can set up feed stations and possibly humane traps and catch them before they starve to death or are killed on the road, or cause a major traffic incident. We also need pledges from volunteers who are willing to help with the search. Any publicity or help you can organise will be much appreciated by The PACT Animal Sanctuary and of course the dogs.
