6 June 2009 - Wandle Park, CroydonThe friends of Wandle Park and the Council are doing an event in the park, this includes a dog show.Date: Saturday 6th June Location: Wandle Park in Croydon Timing: Starting 10am till 5pm Activities include: Games for dogs Rescue stalls Demonstrations Skate park event with celebrity skaters / BMX riders Farmers Market Storyteller for Children Refreshments / Barbecue Dr Bike display Waddons Got Talent Competition http://www.wandlepark.com/ http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=...mp;spn=0.010166,0.022209&z=16 Apparently there are spaces available for any rescues who may be interested in attending, email; info@wandlepark.com. We could really do with the funding and would appreciate your support. I can't commit to this one myself, but is anyone else able to run a stall for Rescue Remedies? |

I would think as it include a dog show any dog related items i.e. coats, balls, bowls, leads etc. May be some of the donated stuff if there is anything left over from your sponsored walk. Possibly lucky dip or raffle tombola? Plus Karen's basement is an Aladin's Cave of RR stuff. TinaD could give you the recipe for her liver and fish biscuits (she bags them in sellophane & ties them with pretty ribbon - £1 a bag) - may be you know a relative who might lend a hand there? Plus giving out RR posters, contact details and using collection tins.
Ok let me know for sure if you can do it because I will hook you up with the organiser - a very helpful/lovely man

I need to get back to the organisers one way or another. Can I just ask one more time if there is anyone able to run with this event? (TinaD, Sam & myself unfortunately are not able to cover this one). | ||||

I checked with the organisers tonight because I owed them a response and they have advised that all their stalls have been taken. They will invite us again next year and hopefully we will have more volunteers by then.

If someone can find out rescue stall holders they might like to dispaly our poster and hand out our cards for us!! 
Tim our vet has a stall on Ham Fair and he is judging the dog show he has offered to have our stuff on his stall!
