4 May 2009 - Seb Coe! Headley Fun RunOn May 4th Sebastian is going to take part in the Headley Fun Run. It is 5 miles so at 9 years old it is quite a way! He is doing it as a sponsored run to raise money for Rescue Remedies and as a 'thank you' for Scooby.This is them at the Fun Run last year 
If you would like to sponsor him, there is a sponsorship form at www.sponsorformsonline.co.uk/sebastainbrooke.asp (yes mummy misspelt his name on the form  )

Well, our little runner is fit and well and tucked up for a good nights sleep. The run starts at 10am tomorrow morning at Headley Playing Fields so lets all keep our fingers crossed for good weather.
Thank you once again to all his sponsors. We will tally up tomorrow and see how much was raised.

It was a lovely day for a run and Jon and Sebastian joined about another 200 people and set off at 10am.
Sebastian started well but fell on some wet leaves and shingle on the first hill  However, he managed to dust himself down and carry on
In an unoffical time of 46mins, he crossed the finishing line in 43rd place, we think
A big thank you to everybody who sponsored him - his sponsorship comes to the grand total of GBP 375.00
Will be sending out an email later with payment details

Sebastian has to think how he would like to spend the money..paying off towards Mr Andre's Vet bill or towards Gatwick's kennels fees? We can tell Sebastian exactly which dogs he has helped. |
