To far from me!  sad5

Hope you all have a good time though.

It was great fun last time  Very Happy

Perhaps you could do one in your area - you can always put up a post on the forum and see if you can get a team together to help you.  We would welcome the initiative.  Very Happy
Mieke

Are dogs aloud???
Jane

Sorry - no animals will be allowed inside the hall.

They can be "parked" outside the hall as there will be an information stall outside - animals are left AT THEIR OWNERS RISK.

It is a safe area though!

fundraiser fair

We live in Kent but our Rescue Remedies dog Moss is always up for a day out, and Paul and I are always up for anywhere with a cake stall, so we will see you there!
Jane

A wonderful but exhausting day today  Very Happy

Firstly a huge thank you to my troop - Judy, Karen, Sharon, Tina, Michelle, Christine, Jess, Katie, Justine, Danielle, Joshua, Sebastian, Else (Mum) and Angela.

I could not have done this without you all.

It was great to see adopted RR dogs (Shadow, Belle, Moss and Jack) and potential adopters and new volunteers show up.  A couple of dogs needing homes came too! Mr Harry Snr (with foster mum Dee) and Charlie Pup.

I am proud of you all  Very Happy

Our grand total raised today is £1000
Dee

Excellent news Guys.

Well done to you all.

Awww, thank you.

Been lurking. We're getting ready for our daughter's wedding in April and preparing Ronnie  for a life afloat come May.
Sharonr - Admin

Just need to know if Ronnie will be a page boy??!!!!  If so, await photos!  Very Happy
reclaimingrebus

that is truly stunning - a huge well done to you all. flower

Well done RR!

Wow! That is some pretty impressive fundraising.  Well done to the whole team!  There was obviously a huge effort made by everyone.
It was well worth the journey.  Thank you for giving us such a friendly welcome.
As you can see Moss loves the rope toy we won on the tombola.

He also loves the home made dog biscuits.  The free samples were a great sales tactic and with a cuddle and a titbit you have made a friend for life.
Hesadevil

There are no page boys (or flower girls). It's a very small, private register office wedding (Wimbledon) with close family and friends only. Eamonn is resisting the suggestion that Ronnie goes to kennels for 2 nights as we've booked a hotel for the night before and after the ceremony (in Wimbledon). Our neighour (the one with the dachshund) is happy to take him for one night but she has a cat and it would be imposing to ask for a second night.

Good to see that Moss enjoys his new toy  Smile He is SUCH a sweetie and it is a good job that you held tight to his lead or i may have had to run off with him Laughing  I was very happy to be "biscuit lady" on Saturday and the free samples were not so much a sales pitch as the fact that i am a COMPLETE softie and always fall for the "my mummy doesn't feed me" look-even from my own animals and i KNOW that they have been fed!!!  Laughing  Laughing
Everyone did a fantastic job on Saturday and i was sooo lovely that people brought their dogs along  Smile I will hopefully be posting the pictures and the dog treat recipes later today  Very Happy

Thank you Jane - I'll wait to hear from them then & pleased things went so well on Saturday. I hope the portrait winner had not tried to get in touch - I have had a dreaded computer virus which jammed everything up nearly all of last week. (beware of opening e mails rom your friends which contain a virus warning!) Anyway back to normal now Smile
