Left over from Sunday and found in the depths of my garage are quite a few doggie bits - collars, harnesses, coats etc that might do well at this event.
If we could organise a transit systems to get them to the right place, they might fetch a few pennies.

Is there anyone by chance coming into London (East London or Canary Wharf) from Farnham way before the 27th

A lovely day was had by all today!!!! The sun was shining all day. I did remember the suncream (thanks Karen! ) so i am burn-free! Today was Sharon, myself, my Mum and Lucie and we were joined by Andy and family We sold the dog biscuits and liver cake, did a tombola and did the ball in a bucket game. There were a lot of other charity stalls doing very similar things so we did face some stiff competition. I didn't enter Lucie into any classes but she was VERY busy harrassing Sharon (and anyone else nearby) to throw her ball!!
We met loads of lovely dogs and owners, including a fair few who remembered us from previous events (we are obviously getting the word out there!! ). I fell in love with the dog on the next stall (again!! Note to anyone out there, if you want to rehome a dog, just book the stall next to us at an event, i will fall in love with it and will take it home! )
Sharon and Mum had to put up with a very hormonal grumpy me this morning but kept their heads down until it passed and i became my lovely self again Sorry ladies!!!!
All in all a good day, i will let Miss Sharon give you the magic total!! xx

Please remind me on early fundraising starts to remove muzzle from my mum and apply it to Tina D! Not a prob as her mum and I have mastered the art of tip toe shuffle, pussyfoot salsa and secret behind the back snicker! She soon came round and brought me a bacon sarnie - bargain!
Well today we did have competition! But we also met some very nice people and some truly gorgeous dogs.
We were delighted to meet a lady, Annie, who knew exactly who we were! She works for a vet and has been printing out our poster and referring clients to it every month She has also given me her own e-mail address so that she can use it for another branch. If anyone of our members can print and display our latest poster at their vets we would be very grateful - you could just be responsible for homing a dog - it really is worthwhile.
Sadly we also met a lovely lady whose Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has Syringomyelia (where the skull is too small for the brain - caused usually by genetics & poor breeding). Very sad indeed, but her dog is leading a very pampered life with lots of TLC. I hope she will be sending in a foster application soon as she would like to help another dog and have a friend for hers for a while.
We also met another lady who is considering another dog and I will be e-mailing her with one in particular later this evening
Thanks to Andy and family for their help today - nice to meet you all
Well I better get on with it ... so the number you are waiting for ...
Drumroll please!!!!!....
Today we made...
£180!
