Homed

Homing Requirements: Lottie needs a terrier home where she is kept on an extender lead to protect her from her chase drive. Home comforts and an active life with a secure terrier-proof garden and exit management. Can live with other dog(s). Not for cats, small furries or livestock.

Her Story: Owned by a family in Wales who gave her up due to domestic difficulties. Held by a lady on a small holding with other dogs but not good around her livestock. Lottie is neutered and fully vax'd.

Advert: Lottie needs a whole lot of love! She finds herself in the embarrassing situation of being homeless having lost 2 homes in short succession. She walks well on a lead and also meets dogs well. She loves to play with toys and is a delight. She loves the car … then isn't life an adventure!

Lottie is a curly coated wire haired Patterdale- to her paw tips. She has a welcoming smile. “She's always happy and is a lovely looking girl, who is very people-friendly and doesn't seem to let things get her down” Not sure how much care this little lady has received in the past but she is now talking 3rd time lucky.

When I met Lottie I thought they had sent a different terrier. She is bordering on Scottie come Pattie

Lottie is a great terrier. She mixes with dogs well and is very comfortable being in their company and the company of 'two legged people'. Of course she is 'elsewhere' when she walks and tuned to a bush, nose down a hole or measuring the roots of trees!

Here she is with Geoff

Do I see Peter grabbing his diary to see which day he can make it down to give her a groom (Yes Peter they do have grooming facilities at Farnham you could use hello1 )

Had lottie cuddle time today .... now, terriers aren't really my 'thang' but  she is just delightful ... .and so fluffy i struggled to tell which end was which!! I would defy anyone to meet her and not have a soppy grin on their face! I had to ask Karen what kind of dog she was as I have seriously never seen anything quite like her before  Laugh

Nic walked Lottie yesterday, what a cutie she is!! Such a lovely, happy girly, you just want to give her cuddles and she likes that! Nic loved walking her and loved her little bit of ginger!

I never thought I would be a terrier person when I started helping RR but they really do make you realise why they are so special. Lottie will make a great companion for some very lucky people!

I walked Lottie yesterday and she was delightful, a very happy girl and responded to everything I asked. Her little ginger fringe is lovely, adds character to the fur and goes with the personality.  Mr. Green

Lottie was very excited to see us today and after lots of wiggles I managed to put her harness on and off we went! She seemed to be very happy to be out and about and very much enjoyed running in the puddles and bouncing out the other side! When we got back to the kennels she took the treats very gently. Lovely, easy walk.

Well, today was Lottie Day. It started like this ...

... and we ended like this ...

What looks like a guinea pig on the window sill is all the dead hair off her ... I could have got more - or done the job in half the time -  but Lottie is such a cuddle monster. We kept snuggling up and I did the bits I could reach!  Apart from wanting to kill the brush (What? A small furry?) she is the easiest terrier to strip. Not only does the hair come out cleanly but Lottie is not bothered by it going as long as she is the centre of attention.  She helped a great deal by standing up on her hind legs to let me comb her tummy.

On our walk she was everything a terrier girl should be. Not bothered by Stevie or Robbie but made it clear to an off lead young Labrador that she was Not Interested.  Her first reaction was to sit primly on her tail but when he didn't take the hint she told him off: very clearly.  Then back to sweet little girl again ... love her!

What a super job you've done! Very impressed with the symetrical cute sticky up bits on top of her head!

Lottie came out for a short trip in the car to nearby Weavers Common where we had a great walk with Kate, Benny (RR) and my dogs.   She was as good as gold in the car, more than happy to sit quietly in the back seat looking gorgeous!

She had such fun on the walk racing around on her extender lead, she has lots of energy and is in to everything, she really enjoyed the big puddles that we found, lots of splashing and wagging tails - she is a lovely, lovely terrier girl who just wants the right people to come along and sweep her off her paws  :D

I had my first visit to the Bordon Kennels today and my first very wet walk with Lottie!
Very easy dog to harness up walk & good with dogs .
We did walk with another very large Mastiff called Miriam
Both walked very well together,
Great day out and will be going back next weekend, but will remember to bring my waterproof trousers next time!
