Homed Homing Requirements: Taz is a fluent Staffie cross and if she is kept well socialised will suit any family structure. She will need to be given a basic training course. Taz will need a secure garden with exit management to ensure she is retained safely in her home boundaries. Not for cats or small furries
Her Story: Taz was found stray over Christmas. She is now spayed and will go through a full vax. course.
Advert: Taz is around 10 months old, is in good health but is being treated for poor fur condition. Taz has everything in front of her. She is joyful and receptive in nature and she is riding out her rescue phase with ease. Any change is looked upon as an opportunity. Her fluency means she can move through into a complex home and settle with reassurance and guidance.
Taz is white with brindle patches, tallish and graceful. She stands alert and captures all hearts. She sees all and rejoices in 'being'. Our puppy lady is coming to terms with what life has on offer and working out just how she will embrace and manage it all.
If you are interested in re-homing please complete Our on-line Homing Questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
See Taz's Thread below: Watch her progress through our Rescue Referral Details: Hi, its Chris at Guildford pound. I know you have just taken one of our Staffies, and I am sorry to be asking again, but it seems like its started again and we have quite a few coming in, we have two young ones the first one is called Lexi and is about 8 months Female and is really friendly. The other one is called Taz is female and about 10 months. I'm trying to shift the younger ones because I know they are easier to re home. If you can help or point us in the right direction it would be very much appreciated.
Many Thanks Chris
We agreed to take both. Taz is being spayed for us. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier..they are their own persons!
Taz was spayed on Monday. Am going to meet her in the next few days. She will come into our boarding kennel early next week if a foster place doesn't come in sooner. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier..they are their own persons!
Taz came into our care today. She had a wonderful walk with Michelle. Michelle is wearing a muzzle so she can mix and get up close and be comfortable with dogs. This exactly what she did and Taz helped her relax and it was wonderful to see them enjoying their walk together in the morning sun

Taz had a lovely day out today. She went to meet a family and gelled really well with their two large dogs. She was a little shocked to meet one of their cats and interested in their Guinea pig also. May have got there with time but life would be easier for Taz if cats and small furries were not on the agenda bless.
She then went for her vet check and vax. She has some bald patches which are noticable today, which weren't so on Sunday. The vet did a skin scrape and didn't find mites. It may be stress related to kennels..anyway we are going to advocate her on Saturday once she is over her vax..and keep an eye. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier..they are their own persons!
Taz was walked by a new walker today (Jane) and I was explaining kennel protocols and said we would parallel walk and let the dogs get closer gradually if they seemed comfortable ...... Taz and her companion Dougie had other ideas, they were overjoyed to be in each others company from the off!
pretty as a picture and a personality to match ..
Fabulous little girl, she is really inquisitive but not 'pully'. I think if Jane didn't have a Great Dane who is a bit grouchy with other dogs we may have had a dog napping on our hands!
She is super , the name 'Taz' doesn't sum up her pretty face & gentle nature! _________________ Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. ~Mark Twain
Taz is a very calm puppy with a sweet nature. She loves being picked up and cuddled too. It's a good job as a lot of that happened today!! _________________ Forum Housekeeper
This baby little girlie really didn't like the feel of the snow on her paws for too long, she kept holding each paw up in turn. So she really really really needed to have lots of cuddles and quite enjoyed just "hanging" there.
SHE IS ALSO THE CALMEST BABY GIRL THAT I'VE EVER MET.
She really needs a home. PLEASE HELP HER.
She also didn't pull on the lead and took her roast chicken very gently.
I LOVE HER.
X
super news for a super girl (another pretty girlie will be needed for Dougie Lynne! ) _________________ Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. ~Mark Twain

Well after a wonderful initial meeting, a quick walk parallel with Logan and then into the car. An uneventful journey to Longmoor, a decent walk with Logan off lead and Taz on extender was terrific. Back home, and after proper investigation and a bit of rule setting and boundary investigation by them both it was time to relax. As soon as I can get pics from phone to laptop I will put them up.
So very happy already, got to go and pick Jackie up from the station so she can meet Taz too. _________________ James and Jackie
