|
|
Homing Requirements: Rockie is an older dog who needs a caring forever home. He has good dog skills and may share his home with another. Secure garden and at most a part-time working home.
His Story: Rockie appeared coming off a train with no attached owner! Chipped so registered owner contacted but no contact forthcoming. Now neutered and vax'd.
Advert: Rockie is a Rock and will be a dependable friend. Rockie has us swooning and weak at the knees. He is so loving, calm and gives a timely lick to affirm friendship. He will be fine around sensible children but to live in with children would need dog confident parents who understand his breed type. Loves to travel in the car as your passenger or crated. Very enjoyable to walk and will probably be off lead or beside his owner.
Rockie is a solid and chunky pedigree Staffie weighing 20.8 kg. Lovely brindle boy with a white ruff and toe tips! Rockie has been through his MOT and would love a comfortable home to settle back in to after his upheaval of being in rescue…bless him.

Referral Details: Thank you for agreeing to help This boy is a big chunky classic Stafford. Got off of the train by my work on his own (no joke). Lovely lad. Chipped but cannot trace owner

Took Rockie in for his snip today. What a lovely chap!
So well behaved on the passenger seat: just sat and wheezed like a retired wrestler. When I could manage to reach over and waggle his ears he responded by oh-so-gently licking my elbow. |

Rockie came out of the pound today and has gone into a vet hopsital for neutering and vac. He had a wonderful walk before he headed north transferring from my companionship to Peters. Ahhhh lovely boy.

Rockie is fabulous. great to walk , easy on the lead , does a bit of squirrel watching but easily distracted. Loves a cuddle and a belly rub. if you sit on the grass he comes and leans right in ..... GORGEOUS!

Rocky's owner has been ringing her council every other day, had him up on doglost, problem was the council didn't note the notification from the dog warden who found him. They are being reunited today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier..they are their own persons!

WOW, This has made my day. I met him yesterday and he is a gentle giant with the biggest head I've ever seen. Oh well, he came to us for a walk and a roast dinner and went on his way.

WTG lovely lad
he got on really well with George if they are considering a companion for him (because he really shouldn't be travelling by train alone! ) _________________ "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted." ~ Aesop |
