Homed
Homing Requirements: Susie needs a family who can offer her care and treasure her for her many delightful qualities. She has dry eye affecting one eye which needs daily drops. Susie is a little vocal when excited.
Her Story: Susie was found stray. The council pulled the plug on funding and the kennel staff frantically tried to get a rescue place for her. We accepted and arranged for her to be spayed. She was transported to our vets by a volunteer and was spayed (timely as her womb was infected) She had 2 teeth removed and a slight adjustment to her eye to help her with dry eye. She was in foster in Ashford Surrey with children, she is now in kennels through no fault of her own.
Advert: Little Susie is a Staffie with lots of sunshine in her soul. A pedigree Staffie who will steal the show and leave competion in awe. She walks well on the lead and will be good off lead once settled. She loves people, children and dogs. She travels well and can settle in her own company but would love the company of others. She has not been assessed around cats or small furries.
Susie is charming. She is a red and white Staffie who now being cared for and so spinning into health and well being. She has everyone cheering and smiles erupt in her company. Whow Susie you have something very special..to bring joy to all. Lets hope we can bring joy to you very soon!
Please visit Susie Staffie DOB 05 Pinner Middx to find out more about her and follow her progress.
If you are interested in re-homing please complete Our on-line Homing Questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.

Referral Details: Susie has been in the pound for 17 days and the council who she was found in are pulling the plug on Monday. We have come forwards to save her and will get her spayed and vet reviewed on intake either Tuesday or Wednesday. Phew. Non reactive to dogs. Got a dry eye which is receiving treatment.

I had the pleasure of collecting little Susie from the kennels this morning and lordy was she happy to be out
She was running around like a little tornado and when i opened the passenger door she jumped straight in because of her high energy level and the fact I was on my own I thought it better to put her in the boot behind the dog gaurd for safety sake. Good Job I did, we pulled out of the kennels into heavy rush hour traffic and after a few minutes she was literally bouncing off the sides like a squash ball
I think we need to divert to the local park for a walk in the woods before driving to the vets
We met a couple of poodles and a retriever on our walk and although exicited to see them she was happy to sniff and be sniffed before walking on.
Susie appears in very good condition apart from her sore eye, and seems to know some basic commands she sat when asked and came back on the extending lead when called .
After a quick walk and having done what was needed we headed back to the car for a trip to the Vets at Hampton. This time she was much more relaxed in the car either looking out of the window or laying down she did not make a sound all the way there
I left her making extremely loud snorting noises to the nice ladies who are going to check her over and do the necessary. |

Susie went into our Twickenham vets today. She was spayed and the vets said she was pyometric (infection of the womb) which is life threatening so very glad she had the op. when she did. She also needed 2 teeth out. Wendy took a little flesh away from her under eye tissue to help correct her eye problem. She has an ulcer on her eye which needs further treatment. She is now on antibiotics; Optrex and pain killers. Along journey to Maidstone and back. Ended up not being able to place her in kennels as she isn't very well and needs TLC so she came back home with me to recover. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier..they are their own persons!

Lovely videos of Susie, GN seems tp overflowing with gorgeous female Staffies at the moment.
By the way, the 2 video links which are in between the pictures are not very noticeable (to me anyway, completely missed them ) as your eyes go straight to the pics, only found them while looking through the flickr site. Putting the link above the pics (as the Susie: meeting & greeting link) makes them more noticeable.
Love seeing vids of the dogs, it gives you an instant connection with them that you can't get from photos. |
