Homing Requirements: Biscuit needs a family who 'gets' terriers and are up for his busy instincts. A family who will keep him safe through retention on an extender lead and security within his house and garden. Not for cats, small furries or livestock at close quarters. Would delight in living with another dog.
Biscuit the moving movie!

His Story: Biscuit was passed on to a friend when he was 2 years old. He lived with an older greyhound and a cat, and age 9-12 children for 3 months. He was fine with the cat for a couple of days but became a nuisance ending in him catching it. He punctured, but fortunately but didn’t kill. He was gifted into a rescue centre and we have taken him on as he is our 'kinda fella’! Neutered, vax'd and chipped.
Advert: Biscuit is just that, a very yummy wholemeal digestive. He has the Fell terrier alert mind with active tension in his sensing 'here and there', as he goes about his day. He needs an extender lead to run on away from roads, for the dissipation and occupation of his energy. This will allow all that exploration, his heart is with You and your call can beckon him...most of the time. He meets other dogs with excitement and can be barky but that it’s just Biscuit's enthusiasm. He settles with dogs if they don’t take offence. Travels well in a car but he needs to be secure on opening a door or window, else it could be his ticket 'not to Ride’!
Biscuit has the grizzle coat from his Border terrier genes. He has the most amazing tight little head with deep brown penetrating eyes. Petite and slight for a terrier Biscuit is about 13-14" to the shoulder and under 7 kilos in weight. He likes to sit if he thinks you would like that or if he thinks it might get him a treat, a toy or a stroke. He is easy to handle and has lived with older children; his playmates. Tasty Biscuit fancy a nibble?

Biscuit came into our care today. He travelled in the front of the car secured with windows limited for air flow and to restrict the terrier flow! Such lovely company and such a delight to walk. Busy and terribly busy! Easy to pick up and harness. Excitable but a Gem because of it!
Biscuit found his house but when he pressed the busser there was no reply. These are the kind of bars Biscuit would prefer to wait behind

We have taken Biscuit on as a foster today and he greeted us with huge energy and enthusiasm. At first I thought there would be no tiring him out, but then I left him to play with my shepherd in the garden and they're now both zonked! They have really taken to each other and it's so nice to watch. They're like master & student, father & son, little & large, torvil & dean! My 4yr old shep has turned back into a puppy!
Biscuit will come up to him while he's lying down and lick his mouth, being all submissive and teasing for a play. You can tell he's so happy to be out of kennels and tearing around on a lawn. He rubs his belly along the carpet and gently approaches you for some loving. Very sweet little thing

They could be twins if it weren't for the massive size difference!

Yes Biscuit was let out of jail today and on the move to meet a friend; Chewie the 4 year Shepherd. Chewie didn't know who was about to land in his quiet home. Not that Biscuit is noisy but swift; keen; 'game' and terribily interested in all things moving and still.
Biscuit had a great time in the local recreation ground with Chewie happily getting acquainted.

I am delighted to read that a kind foster home has been found for Biscuit and that he is already firm buddies with resident dog Chewie. _________________ "Always remember your terriers - Protect them from wet and from cold - For the love of a tyke for its master - Can never be measured in gold" DP Todd "The Terrier Anthem" |

| Biscuit is hilarious! The scooting along on his belly is very amusing, and Chewie is a really patient lovely looking boy. I love seeing a big and little doggy partnership. |

I took Chewie and Biscuit to the coast for the weekend. Biscuit travelled really well in the car, alongside his new best bud! He greets everyone with warm affection and keeps us on our toes with his tendancy to scurry past your ankles when you're closing a door! He loves to play with balls - football, tennis, or soft ones. He'll give it a good shake to make sure it's dead before throwing it at your feet to be thrown! What a charmer!
Here he is on West Wittering beach, looking like a Baywatch stunner!
He had a good swim - seems to love the water
Belly cooling...
Anything he can do, I can do...
Greeting a spaniel very nicely
Ready for a modelling career...!

Ickle Biscuit had to hide under the table so that Chewie couldn't pinch his chew. He takes rather longer to eat his, as his jaws aren't quite as powerful!
He's got flexible hips this boy!

Look who's a walking advert...! Let's hope he finds a nice forever home (hopefully nearby so we can still see him!)
I bought a Small Trixie hi-vis vest off Ebay for £5, which fits nicely over the harness, and then wrote on it! It won't stay that yellow for long, I'm sure! |
