Buzz was found stray in Wales in the cold weather. He was pulled out the pound by 4paws and hitched a ride to Gatwick thinking he was going places! And so he will be .. shortlegged white and tan.  Pics to follow!

Buzz was dancing in his kennel today..very entertaining. So went in to meet the lovely fella. Put a nice collar on and began to think now how are we going to get things moving for you.. Idea Rigsby.  So moments later we're conversing and one hour later Buzz and I are heading up the M23. Look what Santa Claus bought in from the cold! in 15 mins the whole household was pandering to his every whim. And we were on the phone again and Katy is popping by tomorrow morning to take him into foster for a week. Result. Pictures are promised courtesy of Rigsby

Indeed....Little Buzz is our suprise christmas visitor and very welcome he is too. He has taken it all in his stride - people arriving, noise, mess, lots of coming and going - unphased by it all.  He is a dear dear chap - loves the other dogs and they have accepted him.
I wouldn't say he is housetrained but he has gone to the door when he needs to go out and if we are quick we can get him outside in time and he seems to know what is expected of him.  Totally adorable, very affectionate, and not a squeak out of him! Smile
We have already had visitors who are very taken with him - and he had only been here a few minutes!! No cold kennel for him tonight - he has a bed made up with my sons and will be snuggly warm all night! Smile
Photos to follow...

Buzz has been exceptionally behaved thus far! He was lovely when traveling in the car - maybe he used to travel around lots with his previous owner? Being Christmas there has been lots of family around - both two legged and four legged and almost all the introductions have been very smooth; he wasn't too keen on a chocolate lab and we heard him bark for the first time. He is especially keen on my parent's 2 year old JRT Vince. A couple of his new friends seemed to be very taken with him and might even leave to his new forever home! I'm going to forward them the re-homing questionnaire.

Buzz might be house trained as he didn't have any accidents in the night. Maybe it is just the excitement and the new house that is leading to the little slip ups here and there. My attempts at photography haven't gone too well but I'll try and post some more photos soon.

Before Katy did a detour to collect Buzz on Christmas morning, he went for a lovely walk with his new friends -

he behaved wonderfully - he was off lead all the way! Smile Loved all the dogs he met and and had a really fun time.

Here he is grinning at his new found luck -

I'm not suprised he has found fans already - he really is a super little boy and how he found himself homeless, heaven only knows.  He seems very confident in a house so I dont think he has been on the streets long.  And he has no fear of people so nothing too horrid in his background either.  He just seems a very uncomplicated fellow, full of fun and energy and looking forward to a forever home where he will have lots of fun.
Very Happy

Buzz met some smaller children today and he was lovely and gentle with them although they were experienced with small terriers so they were also lovely and gentle with him.

Buzz has had another day of socialising today. After getting off to a bad start, he has made good friends with Charlie the chocolate lab and they enjoyed a nice walk together with another four-legged friend called Dolly. He is doing much better with toilet training today too and has also managed a few 'sits'.

Here is a picture of him relaxing after such a busy day:

So today we have been doing some chores. First we made some cakes - Buzz didn't mind the electric hand whisk. Then we did some vacuming - Buzz was not keen on the handheld dyson but he wasn't cowering in the corner he was barking at it.

I haven't arranged a play date for Buzz today so I hope he doesn't get too bored. Tomorrow I am going to take him to visit Vince again (the black and white JRT in my picture), I think he likes to have four-legged company and Vince is definitely pining for Buzz.

As I type, he has come up and got on my knee for a little cuddle. I don't think I have mentioned that he can be a lovely little lap dog when he feels like it!
