Homing Requirements: Chilli is young with a puppy energy feel which is very pure and playful. Fostered with 5 terriers and another Staffie. Needs to live with another dog as so loves their company. Sensitive skin so can't wear collar all the time. Housetraining needs watching but with focus she uses the garden. Up close companion just happy to be with you, can door dash to stay with you, so would need to sleep in the bedroom not kitchen.
Her Story: Chilli was found stray unclaimed and ran out of time. She was offered a rescue place then they reneged due to a return leaving her with the 'next day execution'. "Of course we will take her" - Chilli we'll always have room in our Inn!
Advert: Beautiful Chilli so pure, so pretty, so sweet. She is lively and needs people with time to give her to play out her puppy ways. She is a titch; a tiny Staffie with all the best qualities of the Staffie. Chilli is a very rewarding dog and a pleasure. Very responsive to praise and training and coped so well living with 5 other terriers; no malice in her at all.
Chilli, who knocked at a our door near Christmas. Such an easy dog. She was ill and we believe this was due to her eating the wrong things..she is now full of health and has been for the last 4 months. She adores dogs and people. She has a fun energy. Mouthy but always gentle. Petite and sweet. Chilli awaits her new life..what a gift of joy she is.

Just checking through and realised I saw Chilli at the kennels - she is tiny so I didn't recognise her Very slight and more JRT size than Staffie.
Look forward to meeting her properly this week.

Took Chilli out for a walk. She is another teeny one. She looks very puppy.
She is so pretty. She has these fab ears and is so tiny. Ali is right not that much bigger that a JRT.
She was very pleased to be walking. I opened the kennel door and just managed to block her dash out with my leg. However, when I got her collar to put her back in the kennel so I could put her lead on in a nice calm way she put the brakes on. She wasn't going to risk going back in that kennel so I could choose someone else to walk. Why take that sort of risk???
She seemed ok with other dogs. Samson met her ok but he seems very mellow. We didn't test her properly with other dogs as we did the others. Not because of her but because of grumpy old Rhianna who thought she sucked.
She doesn't suck, she is ever so pretty and really sweet. She is a puller on the lead but ok to walk. Rhianna isn't that impressed with the energic ones, she likes the mellow ones.
Just realised anyone who doesn't read the foster bit might not know who Rhianna is - she is a dog not a grumpy person.
Mother Chilli is doing really well on Christmas Day. The Inn owners have cooked her a special meal and she has been in amongst all her 5 canine companions. Trudy put her in her place on arrival as they were introduced nose to nose. Ok says Chilli, pardon me! Bruce has been a bit amorous and Chilli has declined his advances and Blue's nervous have been told off and he now knows Chilli is fine , won't hurt him and needs a little respect.
We reckon she is just a year. A little cross breed. Is learning from the other dogs. Her energy levels are still high following kennels but then she also is young and keen. Lovely walks and loves to meet people. won't be able to get any pictures but mentally we're getting a lovely image of Frank and Lorraine with a houseful of dogs! _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
Picked Chilli up christmas eve and she was great in the car sleeping on the back seat. First meeting with my pack went ok but Chilli is still puppy like and very exciteable Trudy put her right by telling her off and since has been good with others but will still jump on Blue known again although she will stop with a firm no,and this is getting better as time goes on.Walks have gone well Chilli does pull on the lead and she is very strong for a small dog. After a good walk she will settle nicely beside you and have a whole lot of affection. Responds very well to treat training and has already got the sit and down sorted likes her food but has no food possession issues, alowing he others to look in her food bowl.
Not sure what Chilli is crossed with but she certainly has that staffy love for all people she meets. So far has proven to be a happy go lucky girl with a very affectionate nature and when her ears stand up she looks so cute ,lovely girl .
Sorry have not had much time to report on Chilli daily but she is doing very well, learning from our dogs, sometimes how not to do things!!!!
Chilli is now pretty much enjoying her time with us and has been good with our dogs after they had a few spats at first but these were easily stopped. She is a loving, affectionate, friendly little girl who although has high energy in her pup like ways is very relaxed in the house after her walks and enjoys a fuss and cuddle on the sofa next to you resting her head on your lap. She is keen to meet and greet people and other dogs alike, typical staffy loves people but can be to full on and exciteable when meeting other dogs on walks and can nip them if allowed.
She travels well in the car once inside but will become nervous before she gets in and sometimes needs to be lifted in but she doesn't seem to mind the help.
Have found she is very scared of the dark/rain,took her for walk in the dark evening and it was raining and she would freeze refusing to move and cowering down to the ground but seemed ok in the rain during daylight, suggesting that she is scared of the dark, not even wanting to go out in the garden after dark.
We have found Chilli to be a realy beautiful girl with fantastic character and charm all of her own and will make some lucky family a great fun, affectionate, intelligent companion. We will miss her dearly she is just so GOURGEOUS.

We walked Chilli with Sparkle today and they walked really well together. What a lovely little dog very obedient and she really enjoyed a run in the snow and was very busy sniffing everything! She'll make a lovely pet for someone - soon please she's not enjoying being back in kennels after being fostered for Christmas!
Hi everyone, we guessed that Chilli would be upset after return to kennel life and have been thinking that after this bad weather goes, that Chilli could come back short term foster for some weekends when we can give her the undivided attention that she so deserves.
But we hope and prey that she finds her loving new permanent home very soon as she will make some lucky family the most perfect companion. GOOD LUCK Chilli.
ps the coat in the pic really suits her pretty in pink. Be in touch asap.
