Her Story: Found stray in Kent Dior is 1 year old medium sized crossbreed dog whose energy has gone quite high being in kennels since September. She is neutered; chipped and vax'd.
Homing Requirements: Dior is a medium sized crossbreed dog whose energy has gone quite high being in kennels since September. She currently pulls quite heavily on the lead but settles once into her walk. Meets dogs enthusiastically to play and needs further training before she is off lead rushing over to dogs expecting them to play. Excellent dogs skills and people skills. Needs fair-sized secure garden. Calm in a home setting. Wonderful temperament. Could live with children but not cats.
Advert:Dior is a 'WHOW' Super model as she stands and draws the attention to her remarkably beauty. Then she relaxes, smiles and comes over and becomes "delightful cross breed" ... the girl next door! She has young energy which needs more attention, expression and tutoring but great temperament has lots of fun. She needs routine and rhythm so she can adjust and accommodate. She is young; needs time and lots of "good girls" and treats indeed.
Dior will enjoy a garden, occupation and care. Sad such a wonderful dog was found stray and unclaimed. She has so much love on offer ... and just needs a focus and she will win love through her goodness. She presents as having a fairly sound background; no 'issues' or baggage. A lovely family dog for a very worthy family.

Dior's thread below: Her energy is currently high as she has been in kennels since Sept.

Seems ironic ... a dog about to be put to sleep, unwanted, uncared for, in no-ones thoughts, having left no mark, invisible in her existence to date. We rescue, we want, we care, we love her and we give her the name of a famous well known designer - a name synonymous with class & breeding, the pinnacle of good taste ... very fitting I think. Dior ... welcome to our world sweetheart - you are all those things and more to us. _________________ SHARONR - ADMIN

Dior's day out - her tail didn't stop wagging - apart from sleeping on the way back to the kennels!
Dior is a fun loving girl - she wants to say hello to everyone & everything, once the initial excitement wears off, settles down very nicely! She does mouth and jump - but that's youth for you, she responds well to the ahh, or sshh noises and soon stops! She wants to play with any dogs she meets. She has obviously been loved - as she welcomes everyone with a wag and bouncing to say hello. She sits and gives her paw for a treat & . We think she will learn quickly given a bit of time and love as all she wants to do is please. Overall a very happy little girl, she'll make someone a lovely friend.
Dior was first on my list today and I was in luck She was a little treasure to walk. Easy going, friendly and no trouble at all. Despite having a rotten cold I felt inspired to carry on with the walking. Look forward to getting to know her better.

She is trying to pretend she isn't here so I will leave her to roam for a little longer

Sometimes when a dog is out of kennels in foster, the fosterer cant understand why there are no enquiries on 'their' dog. Dior is in kennels and no less for it. You walk her and think so many families to queue up for you..have faith lovely girl..your family is just a whisper away. Lovely long walk today. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
Dropped some goodies off at the kennels and helped by walking Dior - she was a lovely girl, very well behaved on the lead, not pulling. We crossed paths with another dog while we were out, a large German Shepherd who was off lead that came running up to Dior to say hello. Dior was great, I hadnt met her before so was unsure of how she would handle it but she was very calm, let the GS say hello nicely and not reactive at all. Loves her strokes and cuddles, hope shes homed soon (like them all!)
Walked “Miss Dior” felt bad as I only had used “Diamonds” BUT she out shone me!! We saw Amba and Karl in the distance and she was keen to catch up...we slowed down and walked a different path, which stopped her pulling, she was then interested in the shrubby and stopping to give me some lovely kisses...covered in mud but well worth it..this girl is hyper for about 10 seconds and then when you tell her to calm down she trots on in front like a mine sweeper searching the floor and sniffing the air making sure your path is clear to walk. She came back to me a couple of times as if to say “am I doing a good job” and quick kiss and off clearing the way again..
