Murphy was handed into the vets late last week to be put to sleep.  The vet wasn't convinced and contacted the local rescue who took him on.  He was mixed in with his rescuers dogs but after 3 days he had a go at one of the dogs no harm but concern is that there is a Chihuahua in the pack and the lady has to be able to trust.  Murphy also became guardy when coming out of her car.

Murphy is out of his depth having not been walked for years and has been handled very roughly according to the receiving vet. We are taking Murphy on tomorrow. We are neutering him then taking him to Gatwick kennels and will begin to work with him.

Murphy has arrived...

We have neutered him; 1st vax'd; chipped him, claws clipped and full dental.  Had a lovely walk in the sunshine and has gone into Gatwick kennels for afternoon tea!

Oh my goodness....my favourite sort of Jack! Smile   Sounds like he has a touch of Rigsby syndrome?! Needs a bit of direction and some firm boundaries maybe?  What a stunning looking lad and full of character Smile .

He was looking at 2 large GSDs at the time...and decided to walk in the other direction keeping his eyes on them!

Just had to have another look....(deep sigh...).  He is SO like Rigsby.  Some lucky person is going to have years of fun with this boy.  His personality radiates from those pictures.  Smile
