Dylan is a smooth-haired Patterdale, now 5 yrs old and always been loved.  His first owner had him as a puppy until a year ago.  They were working long hours and the guilt of not having time for Dylan meant they found a couple who could offer him company and exercise. His current owners took him on delighted , but never having owned a dog before let alone a terrier.  They were looking to Dylan to lead the way and Dylan had his own issues and lack of confidences. Dylan  pulls a little on the lead..oh so raring to go. He is better with gentle introductions and the acquaince being kept quite neutral. With known dogs he is as happy!.If however things are more rushed Dylan can get in a paddy and start reacting. Local dog walkers are beginning to avoid and Dylan is therefore seeing the dogs in the distance reacting more. Familiar story..oh yes 'oh to own a terrier! Taking on a rescue dog there is little wrong with Dylan..what a 'catch'

Dylan is a dream in the house: adored and treasured. However mainly due to so called dog lovers remarks, about 'their aggressive dog' -owning a dog is becoming ownerous! Neutered, vax'd and chipped. We are looking for a terrier home who can work with Dylan and ride his few issues which seem to be becoming worse due to everyone's reactions.  Probably best to remain an only dog. Good with people except postpeople. Sleeps outside owners bedroom. Lovely Lovely dog who is oh so very special.

Please visit Dylan's dog's individual thread, in on the Forum Dogs needing homes to find out more about them and follow their progress.

If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
