Zoe left us today..see Dee's entry but first is her thread....
Zoe is a wonderful Doberman 5 yrs old who is a stunning example of her breed with gentle vibs.  She was held back by her breeder and trained for show..she had pups..then passed on to a inexperienced home who didn't manage her skill deficits and natural sensitivies appropriately. Transition from kennel life wasn't as easy for her as she needed it to be... Since she has come into foster she has been developing new skills; building trust and confidence based on routine and reassurance. She now stands proud in her command of living in domesticity and understands expectations; having a sense of mastery. She still has a few areas of learning to develop further   she is an opportunist food thief; needs a routine around mealtimes and needs tight front door security as a little skittish.  She welcomes visitors and loves the car.

Zoe treasures her walks - ofcourse brilliant heel walking around streets and seems to let her 'hair down'  (difficult for a Dobie!) outside .  Excellent obedience esp. with a hint of a treat  Razz  Loves to play with dogs and seems so much more confident outside as this was an area of her life that she valued and knows all about.  Zoe is in very good health; is being spayed next week following her season 2 months ago. She is uptodate with everything.

We are looking for an experience dog household with another dog as a companion; role model and confidiant. One of the pictures explains this better than words. Children over 10 who have been around dogs or visiting grandchildren who will be security conscious to ensure escape routes aren't exposed. Fostered in Kingston

Oh she is Sue. She is so gorgeous we love her to bits. Not sure how we are going to part with her.

She still is continuing with her builing her stash to take to her new home. We recently found she had added the little brush from the fireside set so i think she is planning on a home that has real fires!! LOL Very Happy

Aw Zoe bless.

Looks in deed like she has found the most perfect home.

A lovely couple who also have a male dobermann and a couple of chihuahuas (sorry not sure of spelling).

Susie and Benson the Dobermann came to visit Zoe yesterday, that all went very well.

Family are going to be home checked next weekend and then the following weekend the whole family are coming to meet up with Zoe in Richmond park.

Susie is having a little op on 21st Nov. so plan will be for Zoe to go to her new pad after that as Susie will be home for 6 weeks. She will be fine though and well able to cope with Zoe.

We will miss her greatly but could not pass up this chance of such a gorgeous home with such a fantastic couple :>)

Zoe has now moved to her wonderful new family.

Had a wonderful reunion with Benson - so delighted to see each other.

Spoken with Susie - Zoe's mum - this morning and they had a very successful first night.

Zoe and Benson have been keeping a careful eye out the front (sitting in a chair of course!) for any potention visitors. LOL

Fabulous home and truly loving people Zoe has finally the happy ever after that she so truly deserves. Very Happy
