Zack is approx 2 year old Weimaraner Staffie cross looking for a new home.

Zack was surrendered in to a pound by a family who couldn't manage him due to his 'then' high energy.  He has been castrated, microchipped and fully vaccinated.

Zack would prefer to be an only pet  and although he would need to be walked onlead, he loves people. He loves his cuddles, is quite easy to train and clean in the home.

He is currently being kennelled but would love a mum to call his own. Smile

Emma

Typical man!

Scratch his back and he falls asleep!

Zack sweetie - sorry I didn't have time to take you today. Your mouth looked sore from rubbing on the kennel wire and your paws too?

Hope a home comes through soon. If not I will walk  Zack next week as a priority.

a pic from our walk at the beginning of March:

Such a handsome boy!

Yes. Zack started to bar chew recently. Its an annoying habit to break.

Sadly his home was not meant to be. Better luck next time.

At last I got to walk Zack again - been looking forward to it.  In his kennel he can seem a bit much but get past the initial big bouncy boy image and you find a sweet lad. Early in the walk took a fair amount of control on my part becasue he was so excited to be out and about again. But once he settled it was necessarily a bit stop / start because of all the traffic on the bridleway / private roadway.  I pulled him up though and we watched the car go past, an opportunity for a bit of fuss, then off again.
Not for the faint-hearted this one but a real gem none the less.
This is not the best picture of Zack but those cows were trouble - quite intimidating, they all came over but he just kept an eye on them.

Also we passed 20m or so from a couple of German Shepherds on an adjoining path and he was well behaved, we just kept walking.

Now that we have got Zack to the stage that he can greet dogs with no adverse reaction he has been moved to the kennel down next to the prep room. He was instantly calmed and relaxed alot more and loves the fact that he is near is favourite thing ever...people and food!  Laughing
