Winnie won through entering her 15th year...but sadly for Caroline and mark her health deteriated and sadly they had to say good bye to little Winnie yesterday evening in their arms.

Winnie's thread is below:
Winnie is still a fiesty little lady full of fun.  Basically intolerant of very young children and snapping at them when too much for her. Needs out asap

Hope to take 14th Jan onwards  No pics available

Oh dear Winnie looks serious and she is..she is missing her family. She is 13 yrs and unfortunately doesn’t tolerate very young children and her owners had to make the heart rendering decision to allow us to find a home to meet her needs. She is 13 yrs young and a lovely old lady who is still full of terrier spirit.  She is a little aloof by nature (had a working life for her first 18 months and obviously wasn’t used to cuddles and closeness.  She is affectionate but like her space and on her terms.  An absolute sweetie pie and doesn’t need a zimmer yet thank you very much.. Richmond Enquiries only answered with completed questionnaire

Yes but she slept last night..a bit of a wheeze bag but i think she had barked herself hourse.  Needs company and tempted to try a mix her but my lounge is to fiesty as Mr T finds playful Molly giant in timidating and so is quite nervous and barky.

I knew a lady locally who lost a 'Winnie' type just 6 months ago but ialthough I hate to approach people I did call her last night but when people mention the age as the issue I know Winnie just isn't for them!  We shall see..I will try and get her up on the oldies club website tomorrow and terrierrescue will be updated later today or tomorrow as i did that last night.  She is on Terrier Talk; Jane is updating the RR website as I type and Shelperhelper tomorrow.  Her home is out there she is such a sweetie pie

All of a sudden Winnie told me to get in the car she had a home to go to don't you know. She was received like the queen into Caroline and Mark's home and hearts. Nells their labx collie was such a warm non threatening dog  that you just know they are going to get along just fine. Razz
