Violet (Nina) is a bigger young girl Reminds me so much of Mindy who has just found her home. (Good omen) Had her first vax today and will get her spayed early next week. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!

At Last here she is:
These show a glimpse of her character...oh what a wonderful character. Staffie loving charm
but such a playful side see how she relates to finding a bone...
This shows her size
And this shows her skin/ fur type

Oh Violet (Nina) she had her spay today and is being treated for an left ear infection. She was very wobbly afterwards as she made her way into her new kennels. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!

The girls at the kennels were slightly concerned about Violet (Nina) first thing this morning but she did perk up. She is feeling a little sorry for herself and I can't blame her
I do hope that her ear infections clears soon and given time, she will get over her spay, then I can get to know her properly.
First thing that came to mind was 'Pepsi' a past staffie friend and then that she must be Ky's sister. |

Nina is determined to make life more difficult for herself - she is now on her third buster collar
She is masssively frustrated and does not want to stay quiet so she can heal At least with each day that goes by, she is on the mend and I keep trying to explain that to her - but she thinks she is ready to go go go now |

Not the best of photos below but you get the gist that Violet (Nina) wasn't moaping in her kennel this afternoon and NO she has had it with that collar thing!!!!!!! She has healed well and we might have to just trust her from now on in.

Poor Violet (Nina) was in a bad way yesterday. It seems she had taken exception to her bed and possibly spent the night on the concrete floor. She was hobbling, subdued and feeling generally very sorry for herself.
She had a new and warmer bed made up and this morning she was so much brighter. She trotted out to say hello and then trotted back to her bed, almost saying to me ' look, this is how I sit in it and if I twiddle about a bit, this is how I look lying down with a chew'
She was almost smiling |

Violet (Nina) seems to be doing very well now. She had a trip to the vets today to have her stitches removed and ear checked. She was on great form and hopped into the car beautifully
She was well behaved throughout her check up and had her second vax as well. She is having some more treatment for her ear but hopefully, if she stops scratching at it, things will improve. It is certainly better.
She is a lovely character. At some point she has had some training. When you can get (and keep ) her attention long enough she knows a lot of the basic commands. She is incredibly playful, almost like a dog half her age. Her lead walking is not fantastic as she is just so busy busy busy I really don't think it will take long to persuade her to walk nicely, though, as she is so very eager to please
