This is Tilly...
She is approx 4 years old and lives well with other dogs and would live easily with either dogs or bitches, young or old. She is worried about entire males (we have just had an entire male Collie returned to us) so she could not go to live with any entire male dogs in the home.
She was picked up as a stray and although there was a phone call to the pound who described her perfectly, when they were told there was a release fee to pay, they never called back. The pound is overloaded at the moment so when her 7 days were up she had to be moved immediately.
Tilly has an overshot jaw which means that her lower jaw is longer than her top jaw. She is extremely thin and she doesn't seem to have any health problems so this is due simply to lack of food. She is now being fed up here and is on three meals a day which she devours happily.
With her family she is very confident, but initially she is a shy and quiet girl. This only lasts for a day though and it doesn't take her long for her spirit to show itself. She is playful with other dogs, but must live with a dog who knows when to stop so that she doesn't get scared and overwhelmed.
Tilly will need daily grooming and to be clipped off every 3 months or so so ensure her comfort. This cannot be done at present due to her bodyweight...she would look like a neglect case!
Tilly is fine with cats, but is a little too interested in smaller caged animals such as ferrets and rats so these types of animals would need to kept well out the way.
Tilly loves her walkies and although she has not been let off lead yet, once she bonds with you would be fine. She is fine to be left for short periods of time and I feel that she would be best homed with another dog.
Tilly could live with children. Her temprement is perfect, but due to her size, age and need of rest and recouperation can only be homed with kids over 10 years old and to a home that will give her time out on her own.
Tilly is a perfect little lap dog, but also likes to be treated like a proper dog. She loves to run and explore, hates a bath and then would like to sleep it off in comfort on your lap enjoying a film.
If you can offer Tilly a home please contact me.

We only picked Tilly up on Monday 17th and it's like she has been here for years! She has settled into her new home amazingly well, she has been brilliant with the other dogs, cats and horses. She seems unfazed by everything, although she hasn't quite figured out how to use the dog door yet!
She came to her first Event at Sapey Horse Trails on Wednesday and had a lovely time walking the course and paddling in the water jump. She was certainly enjoying all the positive attention she was receiving whilst tied up at the lorry. She has slotted herself into our lives and hearts and sofa perfectly!
I'll add some pictures soon.
