Tomorrow you are all invited to breakfast with Tiffany, she would love to see you!

Tiffany is a chocolate brown Patterdale cross Collie in my books. She is just like a slightly larger Patterdale with a Collie feel to her coat and temperament. A classic cross breed. She is between 8-10 yrs old and has all her edges knocked off so a delight to walk and social in her meetings. Tiffany has come to us in a ragged dress  Embarassed  She is in her 50's and hasn't been cared for of late..cumulating in being found stray. So the fun of our rescue is getting our sleeves rolled up and giving her, her dignity back.

We went straight to Christabel our vet. She gave her a thorough check over, wormed her; 1st vaxed her and cleared her bunged up glands Embarassed She is now booked in for spay; full dental and a little cosmetic surgery on a few skin tags. However before that we will Malseb her in a bath and apply Advocate but first want to make sure she isn't harbouring kennel cough (as to make her wet and cold in her kennel wouldn't help).  She seems sad and bemused. She was my travel companion on the front seat; a bit whiny but not to do with being in the car more as to what all this was about. After the vets she settled in the car whilst I sorted my own dogs out in the house then we went for a lovely walk along the Thames and met a few dogs.  Tonight she is safely tucked up on a soft blanket.

I have to say, it's true she was a complete sweetie in the car.  We put a harness on her and she sat in the front with my.  She did whine a bit but that was because she wanted stroking and then she was happy.  What a gorgeous girl.  Good luck in finding a forever home sweetie xx

Tiffany had 4 teeth removed today and was chipped. She also was opened up but found to be already spayed. She slept on the way home; and was eating a soft meal left for her when I left her.

Tiffany....my favourite....I want this dog I have to just convince Karl that he does to...she came to meet Spud (Bud) and she was so sweet. I cannot tell you how much this girl left an impression me and Spud. He was very polite back and we gave lots of rewards, he walked around the paddock next to her and come over a couple of times to have a little look and see what she was up to..he gave a little a sniff and she turned round and said a very quiet hello....she is quiet, in her walk, in her poise. We walked Spud and Tiff and then I gave Tiff to Karl so that he could walk the 2 side by side and they got on fine! This little girl walks beautifully, sticks to your leg like glue and so wants to be hugged..you had to prise my fingers off her...she is some ones readymade treasure, she will get on with any dog and be no trouble and soo quiet you won’t know she has slipped up on the sofa next to you for a quick cuddle!! Love her to bits!!

Poor little Tiffany was tucked up in her bed today and was not sure about coming out at all. Persuaded her to come out and she came out of her depressed mood and had a lovely time.  She really appreciates every little thing but unfortunately seems to be suffering from being in kennels.  She mixed nicely with Evette. She came to the pub for lunch with us and sat very nicely for some treats in the beer garden.  She did perk up so nicely on the walk though and has plenty of energy when she gets going. She will really appreciate her new home setting and start finding joy in her life when her time comes, which I hope is soon. She is down but only due to circumstances and it will take so little to set her right again. What a sweet girl she is.

My mission today was to get good pictures of Tiffany..mission failed.  Decided to get as many dogs out of their kennels for a run in the paddock and a short walk to break their boredom. So started at the front  of the l o n g  line of RR dogs! The afternoon was whizzing by and I needed to make sure I met the 3 new terriers in so then one last walk and it dawned.. it has to be our nearest and very dearest Tiffany and the light had nearly gone. So the promise was 'see you tomorrow Miss Tiffany..kindly join me for lunch!' Its a date.

Tiffany was quite chirpy today. She has a lovely energy and yes that tail was mobile. Sadly sensing her hearing is poor; but she comes over for a cuddle and seems to hear 'sweet nothings' whisphered in her ears..and a kiss or two Wink
