bless her, will look forward to following her story into her forever home. Cant wait for you walkers to take her out of her shell and show her off in all her JRT glory.

we all know about the rap staffies have but JRTs also have this strange reputation that those who know and love JRTs find perplexing.

I take great delight in people cuddling and stroking my girls and asking what they are .. .telling them they are JRTs ... having a shocked expression saying... but they are so well behaved (yeah right! Cool

when Ive got treats)....

but seriously... i soooo wish people would stop giving breeds and dogs labels and give them the chance to be the little individuals they are.

JRT are such fab little dogs so much character and so much courage. They are so friendly and chatty to doggies, sometimes they dont end up being the best of friends but thats OK - its good to have a doggie that wants to at least try, even if it doesnt work out all the time.

Dont ever mistake the typical JRT interchange with another dog for being non- dog friendly.... they just like to make their opinion known.. Laughing

I collected Tegan today and she travelled with me, Woody and Errol back to Farnham kennels. She certainly had a lot to say Laughing

She is far more beautiful than the photograph suggests. I ran out of time to take any better ones but hope to be able to do so tomorrow. She is full of life and not afraid of any dog going Rolling Eyes

Quite the little terrier - can't wait to get to know her better Laughing

Could have kicked myself today - all ready to take photos only to discover the battery was flat tongue3

However, Tegan got a lot of attention from Sam and me today. I think she is definitely a play monster - when I changed her collar she pounced all over the old and threw it around. We dug out a squeaky tennis ball for her.

Sam took her out for a lovley long walk and said she was very good. She is very much the little terrier, spotting the squirrels and giving chase Wink

However, when Sam asked her to move on she did. She was out on the extending lead today.

Oh what a busy walk we had today Laughing

So many smells to investigate, squirrels to be had, scents to be followed Wink

She was so busy it was quite difficult to get a photo in focus - but I think these begin to show how lovely she is -

If she doesn't go in a bat of a white eyelash the world is mad! A very beautiful JRT and it sounds like she has character!!
