Referral Letter: Oct 19th.
Hi, We have a young, adult, entire male terrier cross. We need to find a
home for him as he was picked up as a stray. I have attached a photo. He
is very sweet and good with other dogs. Can you let me know if you can
help.
Kind regards

We are currently arranging to take Gus in next Thursday
I picked up Gus yesterday and was so surprised to see that he was so small, as it was hard to tell his size from the top picture. He is a small Jack Russell size. He was happy to meet my two dogs. Izzy had a little pop at him and Gus did not react at all but just moved away. After a lovely walk he settled down for the evening playing happily by my feet with a ball and finally after an hour or so of playing he flopped out on my lap and fell asleep. He slept happily in his crate in the night and did not cry once. He is going to the vets on Monday to be neutered and have his leg checked over as it is not quite straight, but does not appear to be bothered by it at all. He is just the sweetest natured dog who is good with my boys and good with other dogs. He not quite house trained but is learning fast. Will update more as I get to know this little chappy. Enjoy some more photos below.........
Just a quick update on gorgeous Gus who has had a lovely bath this morning which he enjoyed, especially being dried with a towel!! I just wish I had my camera at hand. We went for a walk at Virginia Water Polo field and had him on a long line and he just enjoyed running after my dogs and chasing a ball or staying close to me. He also met dogs off lead nicely. When we came back I needed to vacuum downstairs and he was not fazed by it at all. We have had visitors all weekend and he has been a real hit with everyone and has coped well with meeting everyone. He is a star – off to the vets tomorrow then back to stay with us until his forever home comes along.
Well, my 15 year old cat Belle has learnt to deal with my parson terrier. He has big wary resect for her now! I wonder how Gus would react to a cat.... I know you can't say..
