My name is Taz. I am going to tell you my life story.

I am seven months old. I am a staffie cross, a living example of what many of us have to endure at the hands of the wrong people who only have us for their own convenience and leave us to suffer when we become surplus to requirement.

My story began when I was bought by a young man who thought that I was cute and that I would give him a status symbol with his friends. This young man had no idea about looking after me. I received no vaccination, no love and no training but plenty of beatings. I soon learnt how to submit when I new that I would be beaten for something I was supposed to have done wrong but I did not know what it was.

The young man left me with his girlfriend and her young children. Things did not get better for me. There was not much food in my bowl and was very hungry. I was very thin. I would steel what I could but I had to pay a high price for my "greed". I was never allowed to be a puppy.

My leg got broken. I was in agony but I was not taken to see the vet straight away. A kind lady finaly took me to see the vet two weeks later and my leg was fixed. I am so grateful that the pain has now gone.

Despite my sad story  , I have always been nice to the adults who where supposed to care for me but abused me and I loved the little children  .

I am living now with my foster mum and loads of new brothers and sisters. I am so happy that I am no longer beaten and shouted at. I know that when a hand comes to wards me, it is to stroke me. I play non stop and my tail does not stop wagging and I do not worry about my food bowl being empty. Life is worth living at last.

My foster mum whispered in my ear that I will always be loved from now on and that my life is on a train steaming forward to the best.

I am looking for a family who will take care of me and protect me and give me lots of cuddles.

Please phone yasmina on 07815547667 . She can tell you more about me. Or please complete a questionnaire available from our Webb site
