Sam is an adorable 8 week old Lab x GSD mix. He was bred to a GSD cross mum to a huge GSD cross dad because 'puppies would be SO cute!'

Unwanted at just two months old and (to show the state of things at the moment), no local rescue could help. After an afternoon of phoning around, the person who rescued him off of his friend who had brought him, thought the only answer would be to have him put to sleep. He finally got in touch and after turning away four separate dogs today (all who are probably going to die tomorrow) I couldn't bear it any longer and agreed to take this little mite.

Not jabbed, never been wormed or defleaed and not chipped. Basically bought as a ornamant and then the reality of puppy poo and pee kicked in, plus extremely long working hours and the thought of a 15 years commitment.

Sad that such a tiny tot has had two homes already, but now he can find his permanent home for life. Smile

Please note: This dog will be huge!

Pics tomorrow as the stress of today has made me exhausted!!!

Look forward to the pics.  4 dogs in one day - does that happen often?

At the moment yes. Sad
The good news is that three out of four of these dogs are sorted. Just working on the last one!

Lovely little pup. Still such a baby, but will grow and grow....
So glad we don't do puppies in our house (too much hard work!!) or he would be so tempting!

An update already!

Hi Emma,

Thank you for coming over yesterday, Sam has settled in well. No loud whimpering, yet anyway ;)

Attached are a couple of photo we thought you would like to see.

Please do pop in, esp if you are passing.

Thanks again,
Antony.
