Ross is a 10 year old blind Border Collie who was rescued from Ireland after being found dumped in a busy city centre.
He is a very affectionate gent and loves attention and fuss.
He is also playful and enjoys his walks (although he does have to be kept on an extendable lead).
He is a very loyal dog and gets along fine with other dogs, is fine with cats who ignore him and has shown no reaction to small caged animals.
Ross is looking for a home with no young children under the age of 10 years old due to his disability. Visiting children are fine as he is good with kids, but he does need some chill out time now.
Ross has been fully wormed, defleaed, fully vaccinated, castrated and microchipped.

If anyone is reading this and wondering about taking on an older blind dog, please see my thread in "Dogs Rehomed" in Rescue Friends about Spot; it's all very do-able and their disability really doesn't get in the way of every day life once they settle in. Recently, 2 people have told me emphatically that Spot isn't blind because he gets round so well!
Collies love to be loved and this couldn't be truer of older dogs. If I didn't have Spot to love, I'd be elbowing my way to the top of the queue for this boy.
He's gorgeous and just needs the right family to tell him that every day.
