I'm trying to think of ways to raise general public awareness of RR and what they do. This way, the first place that people would think of rescue would hopefuly be RR. In other words, we need more free advertisement!!
You know how sometimes we stop to admire someone else's dogs?? We have those dogs with RR (Jaxon, Jay, Cleo etc) and we should make use of. Was thinking that perhaps those who have a RR friendly dog could wear a vest/cape (or maybe a t-shirt) while out or something that perhaps read "I'm with RR. Read about me on RR" or just the web-site address or something to that effect. This way, at least more people would be aware of RR (more visitors to our website??).
Any thoughts??

Sorry Charmaine we are on so many websites we have very high awareness relating to actually how few there are of us working on the ground.
We need to raise funds as we are running on a big deficit..that is the area we need help on.. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!

sorry, no offences intented. My intention was only to try to get more people to talk about RR (word of mouth advertising) so that hopefully, people who couldn't physically help could consider monetary help.
In so saying, anything else that I can do to help? |

| Not sure of cost but for the dogs in foster what about little coats/tabbards with "I need a home" and RR Logo for when they are out on their walks? The dogs in kennels if they are exercised outside the kennels could wear one too? |

Raising awareness is also good for raising funds so I'd say attack on all fronts = for example, my local paper did an article on the desperate situation of local dog rescue, people since have donated considerable cash. Think that especially people not in a position to own a dog but love them (often the ones working with more disposal income for donations, esp in current climate) are prone to send donations.
Can only donate to a charity if you know about it.
