Homed

Homing Requirements: Ollie's new family should have an understanding of terriers and their specific requirements around their safety, exercise and excitement levels. Children fine. No cats or small furries. Terrier-proof panel fencing and secured exits.

His Story: Owned since a pup, and daughter has moved in and had a baby. Ollie needs are no longer being met reference adequate exercise and companionship. Ollie is neutered and chipped, and vaccination. Gatwick in boarding kennels

Advert: Ollie has the inquisitiveness and loving nature of the Patterdale and the applied intelligence and affable nature outside of the Jack. He has done a basic training course which serves him well in the home. Out in the field he is attuned and loves the stimulation of sensory info. Ollie isn't let off an extender lead outside but meets dogs well. Ollie was living with a small terrier bitch which was introduced as a puppy 2 years ago.

Ollie is a Black and White PatterJack with slender build and dainty paws. He enjoys life and adores people of all ages but lost his home as Ollie as a little too full on to live with a crawling baby. Ollie needs a family who can offer him activities and walks centred on his basic needs. He needs elementary understanding of the 'focused' terrier and their management. His forever family is out there! He is superb.

Dear little Ollie is the Terrier of the Month on the print off list of terriers seeking homes. Let's hope his new forever home comes up when people see how delightful he is.

Any updates on this little lad? He's a local dog to me & I really hope he's going to find the perfect home. There doesn't seem to be much info on him.

Ollie was met a week ago and we were concerned for him as there is a dog who lives outside next-door and Ollie is frantic up and down the fence knowing its there. The owners aren’t the type to take it out so not chance to do a proper introduction so they can settle as friends. Ollie isn't being walked so he is spending most of his day in the house with controlled lead visits in the garden just to relieve himself. Also a baby in the house and another due and as good as Ollie is, the younger generation don't quite get how they manage a terrier around a toddler. So bouncing the baby up and down on the knee got Ollie worked up but he didn't do anything but no not the right environment for him bless. Today I went and collected Ollie and took him into Gatwick N. He walked beautifully down the row saying hi to the dogs. He will prove himself and should enjoy his time with us, hope its not too long!

Does that mean he was nearby? Shame as I could have walked him, & with varying numbers of other well behaved terriers. Argh. Hope his time with you is good, & brief!

Ollie is a joy to walk - he ignored high-energy Ronnie beside him

Sue certainly fell for his charms smiliz65.gif

How could I not when he looks at me like this?

He seems such a little sweetheart. I loved being out with him and each time I passed his kennel after our walk he greeted me like a long lost friend.

Sweet little one.

I adore this little dog. Ollie is such a little sweetie, he gives me such a lovely welcome when I reach his kennel and makes me feel that it's not the walk he is delighted about but that I've come to visit him.

I'm not sure how he does it but he makes me feel as though I am special. I think his forever family are going to be very blessed to have this little one about.

Ollie is very camera shy and knows to turn his head away whenever the camera comes out, which is a shame because he is very pretty.

You want me to do what for a treat? A photo, will it hurt?

Yum, you're right it didn't hurt at all, probably worth another in fact.

But you will remember that I am quite camera shy though won't you, I'd really rather have a cuddle.

Someone out there is going to be very lucky to find this wonderful little dog curled up in a basket or more likely curled up on their lap.

I am looking forward to Ollie's forever family finding him. I really hope it's soon.  angel13

What a sweet little poppet Ollie is ... neither Charlie or I could resist some cuddles ...

The lovely Ollie did his best "delighted to see you" dance when I arrived today. Although I confess I was equally delighted to see him.

He always makes me feel so welcome and I wonder if he is on having company and cuddles than a walk. However he was happy to pootle around with me investigating all the sights and smells of the common.

It was just the two of us first thing this morning so he was on a 5m extending lead. However Ollie likes to stay close and prefers to stay only a metre or two away at the most and will always come back when I call his name. I don't think he has ever used the full length of the lead when I've been out with him.  I do usually have treats with me and he takes them so gently it's adorable.

I love walking with this boy, so calm, quiet and unfazed by anything. Seems to take everything in his tiny stride.

Oh and have I mentioned that he's totally gorgeous too! But then you'll know that from Sharon's fab photos! Great job Mrs Admin!

I feel really spoilt that Ollie is still with us. It's comes with guilt because every week I get to walk him means he's waited another week for his home.

Exploring a great smelling horse hoof protector they found on their walk.

I pray that his home comes soon I can't understand it because he is just such a good little dog, loving, friendly, funny, cuddly. Just a little bundle of love who makes me smile every time I get to walk him.
Perhaps I am just enjoying his company too much - I'll be sad when his joyful little face doesn't greet me at the kennels but it will be a happy sadness.

Someone is going to be very, very lucky to find this little one. His photos just can't show how lovely he is both in looks and personality.

Who needs a treat when there's the chance of a stroke?

As usual Ollie was a little angel today.  He bounced around with excitement in his kennel, behaved impeccably on his walk and enjoyed lots of fuss on our return. He is such a sweetie, I really hope he finds a loving home soon.

Ollie was so pleased to see me today, really excited to have some human attention.  Very enthusiastic on his walk, he is definitely more confident now. Lovely little dog.

Whoop ! It's friday, the day I get to walk the wonderful GN dogs and at the moment I get to see Ollie...who is still unbelievably waiting for his home.

I am going to be so happy seeing him curled up with his family but in the meantime I also feel quite a lot guilt at the selfish excitement I have thinking about how happy he will be when I open his door and reach down to make a fuss of him.

Perhaps it's every walkers inner conflict?
angel13

Although I promise that isn't why it has taken me a week to load his photos, it's just been very manic!  Sorry Ollie.

Ollie thought it was wonderful when mud forced a detour and he could explore the long grass.  (Pants - camera out of juice...will charge and edit this to add later.)
