Hi, I have a part time job/hobby as a freelance writer and I don't know if it would be any help to you but I would be happy to write up and post a load of leaflets to help open people's eyes to what's going on and how they can help, maybe set up an account for people to donate monthly, however big or small always helps and if enough leaflets go out there could be a good return to help towards the good work that is going on. I did the same thing for a deaf childrens charity a couple of yesr ago but unfortunately it's no longer running, I also have an amazing friend (also an animal lover that is great with websites and design if you wanted any help there? And just a thought but how about a facebook page? Sorry if it's a bit full on but after reading the 'just a staffie cross' on the site it really hit home how much help these guys need

We would very much appreciate any support you can offer. There are a number of ways in which people can help. Suggest perhaps you check out this thread as a starting point: http://rescueremedies.myfastforum.org/ftopic1668-0.php - it gives a list of things you could do.

If you have any other suggestions feel free to post them.

The only thing to bear in mind is that we are a very small team and we are all stretched to the limit so whatever new projects we take on we have to bear in mind what it will generate work wise - we will need others to step in and help with the load so we can continue to focus on the homings. Wink

I've just joined the facebook cause and invited 150 people, I'll invite more tommorrow, I can't see any pictures on there, is that me being blind? It would be really great to put some dogs pics up with their stories and maybe the 'just a staffie x' writing, that was the most moving thing I think I've ever read.

Also I have instant access to facebook on my phone so if you wanted me to help out there I could.

I've read the link on how to help and I can pass out loads of posters, even if I recruit people to help me post them through every door in the area, I have a lot of contacts in the car scene too and I know that staff's especially are very loved by these people so I can take loads to cruises too,I also can get a link or posters on several car sites if that will help. Only one problem at the minute, the notebook laptop I'm on won't bring up the poster but I can use another one tommorrow. Does the poster have a way for people to give ongoing donations, say £2 or £5 per month? I would be happy to get something designed for this if not and get them out there but of course it's totally up to you guys, I just want to help.

I know work load is limited and you're all overstretched so if you did want me to come up with some designs I can sort it and just check you're all happy with it, I'm pretty sure I can get others on board too.
