Homing Requirements: Minnie needs a large dog experienced family to take her through further milestones, which her fosterers began. She needs an active regime to bring her skills together as so the puppy dog. Minnie needs a secure garden to run her energy off in. Ideally needs a companion dog. No cats or live-in young children. Halti outside with controlled access to people as she still leapy.
Her Story: Minnie came into rescue as a pup, loaded spring from dire living conditions. She was fostered for 5 months with other dogs and was enabled to explore her energy. She has been in kennels for many months and has still to learn to control her enthusiasm, through opportunities and coaching. Neutered, vax'd & chipped. Kennelled in Gatwick area.
Advert: Minnie isn't mini but she is Majestic! She still has clumsy puppy ways now a large puppy dog. Minnie is still chewy: What it is to be a puppy dog in kennels! Minnie loves her walks on a halti as she can jump up at people without. Minnie has energy to burn and goes for a 4 mile run every wekk with one of our vool. dog walkers. Minnie is desperate for a chance
Minnie is a German Shepherd x Staffie. She is stunning red and white and wonderful to behold. She needs a family who have managed a large dog before and can guide her; her heart overflows. Minnie is a very worthy project who need confidence to move ahead. Minnie is still to achieve her potential and will be wonderful as a matured dog.
If you are interested in re-homing please complete Our on-line homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
"Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found"
See Minnie's Thread below: Watch her progress through our Rescue Referral Details: Minnie came to us after a frantic call reference allergic reaction from a member of family. Everything to learn she is a 4 month pup!
She has had no training; boundaries; formal exercise or responsible play. Basically she currently doesn't have a clue when on the lead or in the house. She has been taken in by Clare who is beginning to the begin with a confused pup who is desperate to please and currently leaping up to gain attention and affection

We are meeting Minnie tomorrow and she will hopefully be joining THE PACK!! Looking forward too seeing Claire and Minnie will try too remember the camera so can post some nice pictures soon (by the sound of things it won't be easy too keep her still long enough).
We picked Minnie up today from her temporary fosterer who has made a very good start on her training.Minnie travelled home very well in the car sleeping on the back seat.Minnie was excited but timid on first meeting our pack but seemed too relax during there first walk together. She was also excited when we got back home and barked loudly at Rhona who then decided enough is enough time too put this youngster in her place but it was mainly all noise and was over in a few seconds but did the trick and Minnie then decided perhaps it was time too go to sleep after all.
Claire ,Minnies previous fosterer texted too see how she was settling in and was very surprised too find out that she was asleep and said that Minnie must be exhausted too sleep during the day.We are undecided so far as too what breeds Minnie may have in her but she looks perhaps mainly Collie with a bit of gsd and a bit of Staffie thrown in and would welcome your comments on your guesses when we put the pics on later. We have also found so far that ignoring her when she gets into her excited jumpy mad puppy ways, and praising her when she is laying down and nice and calm seems to work so far.Minnie is a stunning looking young pup very beautiful.Tomorrow we are going too get a chain lead as Claire used one too stop Minie from jumping up and biting and chewing her lead and possiblly a harness may calm her puling a bit.Crate sorted for sleeping tonight will post pics tomorrow.
First night very good after a little whine that she was in her crate in the spare room , then from 11 to 7.30 not a peap. Had a lovely run with rhona and henry this morning and meet trudy later that whent well too but not there long as very hot and tired from walking earlier.
