Marley is a stray who had been returned to his family before. This time his family turned their back and didn't want to know. He has been living with young children successfully.
We take him on next Monday _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
Met Marley today. Such a love. Lovely chocolate brown Staffie with a sweet personality. He had a lovely walk with Rhona; initially too keen to meet her (he so needs the snip!). Settled well and whenever she got close did lots of Staffie kisses. Marley is a really lovely dog. He needs more socialisation only to tone down his emotionality.

If you want to win the dog with the waggiest tail competition this year Marley's your man! Lovely energetic walk but calm to put his harness on & for end of walk fuss.
Marley had a lovely early morning walk with me yesterday then was delivered into Ash's hand the vet for vax, chip and snip. He won friends and I could hear the vet nurses trying to get him to 'sit' when I was in consultation with Ash and Spring another Staffie. Marley doesn't quite grasp the word 'sit' I concluded even on the 8th attempt! But he was entertaining with his magnetic charm. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
Lee walked Marley today and he said that he was so easy it felt like he had been short changed as he didn't need to check him, correct him, nothing...he said this dog was perfect and would be the one to take home. We watched him in the field and Marley was walking to heel and looking up at Lee constantly. Lee said he sat and took the treats very gently. He couldn't find a single fault with Marley. I must say the pair of them walking together looked the part, like they were in a dog show walking the ring...very impressive!
This boy has no faults and has the looks as well...so delighted you've captured him. He is very very special. Thank you! _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
Hi, I'm a new walker for RR and Marley was one of the dogs I walked yesterday - my first day! He was no problem at all, pulled a bit but not too bad. We stopped off for coffee and he was perfectly behaved around people and other dogs.

Well what a lovely boy he is. Excellent walker, respects his rules and loves cuddles.
Is a little too excited when meeting other dogs at the moment and the local dogs aren't loving him for it but we're looking into some classes to get him more socialised so he can enjoy being with other dogs and so they can enjoy being with him!
So chuffed with what a good boy he is though...love him to bits! He is settling in nicely so i reckon he's loving his new home too.

Having spent a week with afternoons off work, Marley is really settling in. He's definitely got problems with socialising - even rousing my parents 16-year old retriever into a fight when they met today. But, we're looking at professional ways to solve this, and in all other ways he's absolutely adorable, playing off leash with ball and walking like a dream two or three times a day (the ball doesn't last long, but he's learned to return & drop already), settled in the house, very gentle and loving with his approach.
So much to say about him, but in summary... I feel really lucky to have Marley in my life.
Scottie.
1 week on and so lovely to get an update. He will build confidence with dogs he just might not be ready for full on, off lead mingling. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
Definitely think he does have the right energy for mixing there but given a bit of time. On lead he was great with other dogs when walking at the kennels. So many changes for him make it all overwhelming. Glad to see him looking relaxed in the photos - such a sweet boy. Sure it will all settle with your help and understanding
