Her Story: Marie was found stray with another Staffie bitch. They appeared to be together so were kennelled together. They clearly loved each.

Salient points: A classic Staffordshire, with a lively, sweet and emotional temperament of about 4 yrs old. In good health; has been spayed in past.

Advert: Marie is a happy happy dog.. the perfect anti depressant if you like dogs that is!  Fun energy bless her, wearing her heart on her sleeve. She needs an active home and could be homed with her friend  who she was found stray with or in with another dog. She definitely needs a secure garden and active family as she has a lot of interest in L_I_F_E. What a happy happy soul.

Found with her companion and delighted to be in Evette's company. Alas very unlikely to find a home for them together so are looking to home them in with another dog so they continue dog companionship. Marie is a little perturbed when alone but loves people equally perhaps even more so easily comforted. Previously spayed, and now fully vax'd and chipped. Small to medium red staffie. Delight in marie and be sure shew'll delight in you and all you have to offer. Her head is heart shaped in fact she is all heart!

Please visit this Marie's individual thread, in Dogs needing homes in our care on this forum to find out more about her and follow their progress.

If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.

"Please note that this dog is currently in kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found".

Marie's thread is below:

Marie was found stray with her friend Evette. They have been kennelled together in the pound successfully 'unclaimed' so coming to us. Arranging neutering in the next few days.

Met Marie...oh she is a live-wire;  high energy bless her..definitely for a large garden and active family. What a happy happy soul. Delighted to be in Evette's company, a little perturbed when alone and almost searching activity. Our vet concluded that she has a scar which mimics a spay-scar so decided very slim risk that she isn't spayed. She therefore had her first vax and was chipped. Small to medium staffie-17 kgs (Evette is 24kgs)

I walked Marie today while a new walker took Evette. Marie is very bouncy and very keen to go on her walk but settles down once outside.  She takes everything in her stride and is friendly to all.  First signs were good on meeting other dogs but as it is so early for her we didn't approach yet. No interest in horses at all but a bit confused by the cows. When I saw her in the paddock earlier she was  on the go the whole time, like a little wind up toy Very Happy

Sue & I took Marie out today with her partner in crime, Evette.
She really is a live wire, always on the go, constantly into everything, she wasn't fazed by the traffic at all.
At the halfway point she took water well and enjoyed a bit of a fuss, but was more interested in getting on with the walk.
On the way back she'd got used to us and calmed down to the point that her and Evette were trotting along side by side.
A lovely little girl whose personality shows through when she calms down Very Happy  I will endeavour to get some photos next week.

Tom and I took Marie and Evette out today. Marie really was the lively one of the two, giving us quite a challenge to get the harness on while Evette looked on patiently. She calmed down on her walk - playful and energetic. We had a close run-in with a chicken that had escaped from the field, which definitely picked up its pace when it saw her! Great fun to walk.
