Posted: Sat Jan 09, 2010 10:55 am Post subject: Jodie Staffie 08.08 Eastbourne
Her Story: As a pretty puppy, she was passed around- ended up with an unemployed person who was losing his home and couldn't take the now 'young lady' back home with him, with noone to help. Jodie came into kennels in January.
Salient points: Enchanting, little, young female Staffie cross. Adaptable, easy and open to merge in with yet another families lifestyle! Joyful energy which settles once receiving sufficient exercise and attention. Good around children and good to meet dogs outside. Has always been an only dog. Probably too exciteable for cats.
Advert: Jodie is a sweet little dog of about 18 months. She has had such bad luck up until now, yet has always been loved and she is within our safety-net assuring her a home at the end of this kennel spell. So sad to see her pleading face as you pass her kennel...will you let me out? Jodie arrived with us just about to come in season but she is now spayed and healthy and raring to get on with life.
Jodie is one of our easiest dogs..she in fact has so much going for her..good looks, small in size and really presents well picking up housetraining again when briefly fostered. She is affectionate and would like to occupy your lap. She copes well in kennels but is very excited when presented with a lead..loves her walks, loves people and very comfortable to be around dogs. A special family will come forwards for Jodie who have time to offer her and give her the stability she deserves and is so ready for.
Please visit Jodie's individual thread, in Dogs needing homes in Foster on this forum to find out more about her and follow her progress.
If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
"Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found"

Finally saw Jodie today after missing her somehow yesterday. Walked her with new walkers and she was easy to get the harness on and so long as we didn't stop too long to chat she was very happy to be out. Quite a small girl. I am hoping Laura will send through some pictures later - she is a pretty girl _________________ www.furryfriendsrescue.co.uk
Jodie bounced out of her kennel to day for a short spell in the paddock. Jodie is Jolly! _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
Jodie was bursting with energy today so we steamed around the fields & toured the woods, she settled down on the way back, couldn't get a photo of her lovely face so have to make do with her white neck marking - a wishbone? No prizes for guessing what she is wishing for....
Jodie had her second trip out for neutering and yes you guessed all weighed in and 'opps' little droplets of blood..Jodie is in season day one! _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
I took Jodie for a walk to the pub for lunch today along with Alison and Dior and Charlie and Jenna, she was very vocal and pulled a bit on the way there but on the way back we were walking in front and she walked very nicely.
Jodie has finished her season and her kennel cough is only apparent when excited in the house. Charlie+Ted can only foster her until Monday morning but she is having a great time and 2 more weeks and she should be over her KC and ready for spay. Isn't she pretty and such a lovely sweet energy ashame she pick up KC and couldn't take advantage of Farnham walks and company. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
