Iris (short for good looking!) arrived into our care yesterday. She is a Shih Tzu type but her nose isn't a 'squashed' so hopefully she wont have breathing problems. Very nice natured . Anxious in the van from Wales as she was face to face with another dog..but took up the invitation of my passenger seat and settled beautifully once  she got bored of the moving views. Iris was spayed on the 15th October.

Just the one usable pic which gives you a glimpse.

Laughing I met little Iris today with Janet and Alwyn - what a little live wire Laughing

Not a moment lost in idleness, its go go go. We tried hard to capture her on camera, this is the best we could come up with -

Don't think this is a little girl that will be with us very long Laughing

She is sooo pretty!!! She looks like a JRT at the moment but it will be interesting to see if she looks more like a Shih Tzu when her fur grows!!!!!

My daughter and I had the pleasure of walking Iris today.  Her  face has (I think, anyway!) a lot of Shih Tzu about it, and her character has a lot of loveliness about it!

I wanted her to take things easy, because it's not long since her op, but she clearly had other ideas, jumping for joy when we went in her kennel  Shocked   She was quick to snuggle in for a fuss though, so I managed to keep her feet on the ground after that.  Another lovely RR dog....

Wriggly bottom or not - those are beautiful shots of her. Who could resist that little pink tummy with black spots on it... I doubt you lot will be walking her for long so make the most of it!  Very Happy

We took Iris out today for the first time. She's so full of life and enthusiasm and just wanted to say hello to everyone and have a good look around. Although Iris does know sit, she wriggles around so much, her bum doesn't stay still for more than a few seconds and her tail hardly stops wagging. She loves being fussed and is a real joy to be with.

Oh what a shame.  Hope she get's through it soon - perhaps someone will offer to foster her?  Crying or Very sad
