Hi,

I came across RR while looking for a new dog, my circumstances were "unique" at best (some would say mad!!) and almost everyone had just said "no" and put down the phone!  I've never forgotten the time we spent debating about Gallo here, and the kindness and helpfulness of Lynne.

By strange co-incidence last year I homechecked a little jack russell who came to 2 lovely people in Northampton and they had found him through terrier rescue (which i hadnt realised was linked to RR at the time) as he was adopted via another rescue .

Another chance liason as a friend of mine emailed friday to say she was desperate for a rescue place for a terrier - I reminded her about rescue remedies / terrier rescue and you've very kindly agree'd to take him on.  I decided that we cant just keep meeting like this and I should really come in and introduce myself !!

Here is William he is now approx 8 and we've had him over 4 years now (dog number one) a rescue terrier x who was in rescue at 6 months old with the recorded reason being he was "too bouncy" and returned again at age 2 1/2 due to a relationship break up.  He's a dear lad who loves snuggles and dreams of being allowed to hunt wabbits !  He is marked like a parson russell with tan face, tail spot and ticking over the body and hind quarters.

This is Bonnie (dog number 2) our pretty tri girlie ...

When she first came (18mths approx)

and ... now (3yrs approx)

lots of people think we match and ask if we are siblings or related in some way - I very much doubt it ... and if you look really hard you can see they are really quite different builds and definately different levels of activity !!

Claire x

Hi,

I thought this deserved a special *bump* as William and Bonnie have played their little part with 3 lovely rescued terriers recently !

First there is "chudley" who friends of mine recently acquired ... William & Bonnie are teaching him that being sociable is lots more fun than grrr-ing Very Happy  (william doesnt look too impressed as i had popped to the car and took this on my way back!)

Then there is "sox" (now Lucie) who they welcomed into their home while she waited for a new one of her own Smile  She's looking longingly at them up on the sofa hehe !!

I think you will agree she has adapted to her new home hehe !!

Lastly ... Jack - Bonnie and Jack played and played SO much they had a little sleep !!  (my silly phone camera noise made Jack look up !!)
