Homing Requirements: His owner will need dog experience to offer him assurity and in 6 months you won't match this dog...his temperament is superb. An active life where he has the opportunity to explore life again and acquaint himself with life's expectations.
His Story: Harry was found stray as an older pup. His instincts are bashful and his dogs skills still playful and clumsy...so he sat waiting for a rescue place for 5 months. He is now a valued member of our Team!
Advert: Harry is a Boxer x of magnificent beauty in body and spirit. He has that soft soft boxer fur. Harry is a young Boxer x Staffie who has been in kennels since September such is the plight of rescue dogs. He has been kept him safe but hasn't helped him prepare for life. What has life got to offer you? A lot better than it has served up for you so far. Harry has an air of a gentleman tinged with a sadness. Look at that face it doesn't get sadder and his story is so sad. We are enjoying his company and together we can put fun and laughter on the agenda during the long waiting game. We have begun the serious search for his family.
A remarkable dog who needs kindness and guidance. He has the looks! He has loads of personality! He is neutered, vax'd and chipped. Harry is just a novice in some areas, but well meaning. Socialisation is the key word and training classes will soon help Harry in building his confidence. He is currently enjoying joint walking with dogs and beginning to learn dog etiquette. Being in a home environment will allow him to settle away from scary, noisy kennels. A beautiful dog who has had a disappointing life until now....

Harry was found stray with a beautiful collar on..but no one came through to claim him. That was mid September and now a friend of his has given him £100 worth of support to help him on his way into rescue. Harry comes to us early next week.

Harry has arrived. He watched out of the car window as we circled the M25 then settled and bore a hole in the back of my hed..just starring, quietly watching. He is rather thin but seemed very happy to meet 6 labs and a rottie nicely through the paddock fence. His is a little inept with dogs. He is the size of a Boxer but not quite as 'beefy' and his head has the broader forehead of the Staffie. I would say Boxer x Staffie which is a lovely mix.
Handsome Harry. Looked really happy to go into his spacious kennel. They all got a pigs ear and Harry so enjoyed! _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
Harry hitched a ride with Jayne to the vets yesterday. He was meant to be all subdued on collection..but wasn't! As quiet as a mouse both trips though. Needs socialisation as is all over the show but very well meaning. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
Harry had a lovely walk today. his eyes were out on stalks as he soaked in everything. Such a playful big pup! _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!
great walk/work out today, bit of a puller. I hadn't met Harry properly before & was charmed, very good looking boy definitely a bit of boxer somewhere there. Very interested in the cats, hurried past the big guard dogs, funny when he heard a pony whinny in the field
'who said that!'
Harry was my first walk today & did pull like a train, have to forgive him tho' as his enthusiasm is catching - certainly warmed me up for the rest of the day! We had a good explore in the woods & I managed to stay on my feet despite all the slippery mud.
Cathy & Tina D took turns to walk Harry today. He was quite strong on the lead and very curious and inquisitive in everything around him. He is a very striking dog, beautiful markings and it's hard not to fall for his charms - Cathy did!

Harry is a lovely boy!!! He does pull on the lead but i am sure most of that is pent up excitement! He seemed to be fine with the other dogs and seemed yto just want to play. When he went back to his kennel, he looked hopefully at his door every time i went past, hoping that i would stop for a cuddle or to take him out again but he wasn't one of the ones who would bark for attention, just a quiet hopeful look at me. He did enjoy his pig's ear when we left though and that seemed to make up for it!!!!
Harry bless him, always looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders with that sad face. He is so lovely and very affectionate to people he meets. Cant wait to hear the day when this boys in a foster/new home. He's gorgeous x
He does have a really happy face when walking though! i think the pictures make him look sadder than he really is. he seems a lively, happy boy that is keen to see what fun things life has to offer!!
Hi Harry, I know your being a good boy because you were fantastic in my car on the long journey to your rescue, you put up with my singing and talking to you like you were a baby, I really do hope you find your forever home really soon, because you so deserve it. x
