Harris
Harris 3 yrs old and a diamond dog. Well trained ; great fun outside loves the car and to swim. Recall … good! Neutered, vax’d and chipped. He is generally good with dogs and loves games. He is wary of stranger entering his territory but forgives them after gentle introductions..post-person and window cleaners wouldn’t get so lightly. Despite owners best efforts Harris can’t be trusted with the new baby (as with Fells) Needs his new home

Harris has arrived. I will photograph tomorrow. A matured version of his photo. High energy and friendly towards ourselves. Outside focused on his squeaky toy, but in the house affectionate. He separated and coming to terms with his new situation. came out with us tonight and enjoyed the car ride and our company. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!

Harris advert
Harris is a 3 yr old Patterdale Terrier. He is a dream boat Harrison Ford of terriers..jet black wire coat. On the larger side 17" to the withers (shoulder) and has a clear springy energy which is aching for an active life. Harris is from working stock & has been highly trained which is to his credit. He is a super dog who bonds deeply and is friendly; loving and affectionate. Like most Fell Terriers he is not safe to live with small furries; cats. His energy also is too much for babies and hence he lost his home.
In foster he has been a dream...settles when left; great fun on his walks and will recall to a squeaky toy. He wasn't mixed with dogs by his previous owners but the signs are he would love to but a little gushing and needs gentle introductions. He has welcomed visitors in our setting but apparently had become protective of his home with a few nipping episodes but his energy was managed and further events avoided. Harris is neutered, vax'd and chipped. Fostered in Richmond.
Harris is a larger than life terrier who is sooo lovely; such fun but needs a firm line to keep his instincts in check. Please visit his thread under dogs in foster on our forum via our websiteClick HERE Rescue Remedies _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!

| Took Harris out for a walk today, typical terrier into everything ! Heartstopping moment when he rolled and when he got up the lead had become unclipped! still, I waved the treat box at him, and he was quite happy to come back and have lead his put back on. as we were only 5 minutes into the walk, and had only met briefly, I was impressed! |

Harris isn't an in your face dog, though he can be very noisy when he realises you're there. But if you let him come to you he's fine, and just desperate to go for a walk. Yesterday, we stopped for a couple of minutes while I had a quick cup of tea and as soon as I sat dowm he hopped up beside me, and spent a couple of minutes trying to remove the dirt I must have left behind my ear He's not a cuddly dog, but once happy around you, perfectly fine to handle, likes a scratch and to have his ears gently pulled |

He's a smashing boy out on a walk, happy to explore but quick to fall in beside you companionably
