Fudge is a 7 yr old Pedigree Lakeland terrier living in Liverpool with his young family. Fudge has been owned since a puppy, well cared for and understood. His spirit is appreciated but ofcourse frequently apologised for when visitors come and he barks with excitement! Fudge actually sounds like your typical Lakie, which Lakie owners know well, but doesn't quite come across from the 'gloss portrayals' from breeders write-ups. Hence why some Lakelands come through into rescue; they are full of life and need active lives and don't suit families looking for a 'pretty accessories'

Fudge is currently living with 2 very young children and has managed with the babies: Yes he gets excited when children visit in fact when anyone visits but he will show his glee with but has no malice. His character also displayed in his encounters with dogs. Barks and wants to get to know and will want to play if allowed. He is by nature a sociable chap which makes off lead exercise a difficult affair. We loved the owners comments "will come to call on demand unless'.... he has something more interesting ofcourse! Many will read and say 'oh 7 yrs old' but what a perfect age in my view. Fudge hopefully will have another 7 to 8 yrs of fun ahead and as you know a terrier never really gets old, just more lovely!
