Homing Requirements: Finch needs a stable family who 'get' terriers. He could live with another dog or be an only dog. Needs secure garden and exit management as with all terriers.
His Story: Finch was found stray. He has proceeded to impress everyone who has met him and is skilled and jovial. Now neutered, chipped and vax'd. Fostered in with 3 other dogs in Wokingham.
Advert: Finch is a little bird. He delights on impact and is keen to thrill you. Finch will make you smile and he hasn't a bad bone in his body. Mixes well with dogs and could live with another dog. We think he will be an off lead dog with awareness to hone him in, before he wandered far a field. He is connected and affectionate.
Finch is a tri coloured wire haired/rough coated Jack Russell. We think he went stray through poor fencing or door left open. He deserved to be loved and reclaimed but often a rescue dog gets that lucky second chance which turns into a dream homing. Can you offer Finch that!
If you are interested in re-homing please complete Our on-line homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
See Finch's thread below: Watch his progress through our RescueReferral details: Requested to take Finch in by both Alyson kennel owner and the dog warden. He is good with dogs. Quiet excitable by nature.
Finch came to us today. He was neutered, chipped and first vax'd. Quiet in the van travelling, both 1 hour journeys.

Lovely lad. So glad he has come to you for rehoming. He will make someone a lovely companion. _________________ "Always remember your terriers - Protect them from wet and from cold - For the love of a tyke for its master - Can never be measured in gold" DP Todd "The Terrier Anthem"
Finch was a bit lively for Ted last week (he doesn't do playing )
They both loved the stream though
He jumped in my car & made himself comfortable - so hard to take him back to his kennel
His usual cheerful self today walking with Susiebee - look at that tail wag!
I agree Jilly, he is absolutely adorable. Such a quiet little chap but happy to have a lovely fuss and is a dream to walk. Seems to get on with everyone - people and dogs alike.
It was a real treat to take him out today - it was getting late in the day and he had been very patiently waiting but doing his best 'aren't I adorable' eyes at his door. His joy when I went to get him was the best reward a dog walker can ask for.
All that and he's so tiny with so much love to give. In fact he's barely taller than a blade of grass.....
Although we did have fun today ....look at me I'm a finch in a tree...
Finch may be getting a new girlfriend !!! Meeting tomorrow so if all goes well and he is as good as everyone says he is, he will be coming home with me tomorrow to be fostered much to Rubys delight !!!
