Found after a RTA in Guildford Park Ways.  Have taken her to Emergency Vet for Treatment (Stoctons Vets, Woodbridge Hill, Guildford). Only saw the after math sadly the car that hit her failed to stop and was happy to leave her in shock and bleeding by the side of the road.
Tan Colour, wearing a Pink Collar with Diamonds.  Large - Tan colour.  Bald patches on her rump.

No chip found or tag.  But totooed in ears..reported to Grayhound Rescue who are looking into this.

Have registered on Alfies Lost Dogs and dogs lost.

Telephone: Dee Peter 01483 533872.

Not the outcome I hoped for.  Owner traced and apparently she is a Racer - vet didn't believe this from her build and neither did I.  Owner not interested in helping her due to the cost of treatment.  Vet have agreed to waive the emergency treatment but will cost £200-300 to have her stitched up.  Vet contacting her Legal Team as only verbal agreement saying don't want her back nothing signed so maybe PTS.  Have spoken with dog warden who has agreed to sign her over on the 30 day agreement that the Council can do so need to find a Rescue willing to take her on with this agreement in place - just in case after treatment the owners come forward.

Can't believe the mentality of OWNERS ready to have his dog PTS at the drop of a hat.  Lets hope she will be saved from the deed.

The vet is unsure of how the law lies with this because nothing has been legally signed from the owner.  This is where the problem is.  Have told the vet that there is a rescue place for her that will pick up the tab but this made no difference until she has spoken with her legal team.

Have now spoken with our Dog Warden who is stepping in to save her and contacting the vets to sign over on the 30 day agreement.  This is the only way it can be done because it was a telephone conversation from the owner and not signed and sealed on paper.

Have just phoned the vets to see how she is getting on and was pleased to hear she is doing fine and has now gone into safe hands with a Grey Hound Rescue.  So pleased to hear this and thought you'd like to hear an update on her.   Vets spoke with the original owners last night and agreed to sign her over.  Sung her praises and counldn't afford the vet care that she needed and may well need.
