Homed

Homing Requirements: Millie is a Labrador x; with a Lab. temperment. Proven with children, dogs inside and out, people inside and out. Squirrels and cats are topics of keen interest! Looking to home in with male dog.

Her Story: Came to us in the mid winter but fortunately got a foster place and has excelled. Lovely temperament.

Advert: Millie the Labrador x, just over 1 year and there you have her, chocoholics beware- a labdorable! Millie has really developed since she has been in foster. She has had fun, living with older children, and another Labrador, attending training classes and has develop wonderful manners, meeting hundreds of dogs. She understands the kind of behaviours that brings her a treat offering. She has really developed. What a star...

Millie needs dog company to offer her the fun she thrives on, to offer her canine companionship she so treasures and deserves. She is a young dog who loves to run off lead, engage in fetch and meets people beautifully. Oh yes she has many admirers..and the hint of Staffie she has in her means she is an affectionate people-dog and devoted to her families needs. What a starrrr!

Wonderful video...

Referral letter: Sorry to keep bothering you, I wonder if you know of anyone that may take Millie.  She is a Lab cross, female, about 11 mths old.  Chocolate in
colour.  Has a lab temperament.  Loves everything.  Good off lead.

She is another one that has just come up, unclaimed at a police station  (prisoner property).  God, I don't know about vetrinary nurse I feel like homing co-ordinator for the unwanted.  I have not got long to move any of these dogs on, so just want best possible chances.

Millie was spayed yesterday she comes to us with Freddie on Thursday 28th

Met Millie today, what a beauty, didn't get off to the best start as I forgot my manners & burst into her bedroom leads flapping, she thought this most rude & retreated outside (I do not fit through the doorway!)  I apologized & sat down for a chat, after about 5 minutes of me being a scary monster I was suddenly her best friend, one second eyeing me suspiciously from outside the next head on my lap.

I'm glad she changed her mind about me as we had a lovely walk - had me laughing all the way, very good on the lead, playful - would love a ball game in the paddock...  Most definitely Millie (the Clown)

This is before we were friends....

Saw this dog today. Lovely looking dog.

Alot smaller in real life then the photo suggests IMO but probably more practical in that sense.

Hi I have settled in really well into my foster home.  Yesterday was my first full day at my new home and boy I have done alot.  I went for two lovely long walks off lead! and yes I was really good when my name was called I came straight back to my new mum.  I loved playing with Izzy a black labrador who is living with me, but she does put me in may place sometimes when I get to excited and bouncy!  I also went to puppy training today and my new mum thought I was the star of the show - I preformed really well and the trainer thought I was a lovely dog.  I was really friendly with all the dogs there.

Last night I slept really well in my crate not waking anyone up and was so excited to see everyone in the morning.  I get on really well with the two boys that live here and love lots of cuddles from them. (aged 10/12 years).

I hope I find my forever home soon.

P.S. I look quite big in my photo's but I am a small lab size.

I had the pleasure of meeting Millie and her foster family for a walk today and she is totally gorgeous Smile She has everything you could wish - looks stunning (much smaller than you think from her photos), behaves beautifully, loves other dogs, and is really responsive - came everytime she was was called but hardly left Frances side anyway.  What a treasure!! Smile

Lovely photos and great to see them as 640X480 instead of the thumbnails - it makes such a difference.  Can now see her in all her glory.  Thanks for perservering with my instructions.

Well done!  Razz  Razz  Razz

Millie has been with us 4 days now and is very happy here.  She will be such a loyal dog to someone.  For an 11 month old puppy she is quite a calm nature.   She is such a stunner to look at and will look even better when all her fur grows back after being spayed nearly two weeks ago.

Some pics from a walk this afternoon - Millie behaved really well, is full of beans despite having been kept active nearly all day!  The top photo is Millie giving my dog Mabel a run for her money (Mabel was rehomed from Furry Friends earlier this year) and then getting her breath back before starting off again! Smile

Another picture of Millie while out for a walk with all her friends.  She has had her dinner and now is fast asleep as she has been out most of the day.  She enjoyed watching my son play football but enjoyed even more the attention from all the children.
