Clive is an English Bull Terrier x Jack Russell. This gives him abundance of energy and finding kennels a little hard. He is going to need either a special foster home or forever home that is going to give him the training that he needs. He has no idea what it is like to live in a house and can be a bit over the top with mouthing and nipping so this needs to be worked on too. We are hoping having an audience of terrier and bull breed lovers we can place him into a family who can help him to learn the basics and focus his energy as he calms.

Clive mixes well with most dogs.

Clive has arrived. He is here saying hello to his neighbour Jojo. He is T.E.R.R.I.E.R  Very Happy He is leapy in the kennel and can catch clothing so needs unified approach on this.  Instincts are lovely with dogs and people.  Sad thing he has an obvious ring around his neck where he has obviously been tethered up with a rope. Yes 'good on him' he was learnt to bite through leads but then after all -that was his ticket to freedom!

What a little star this dog was today! Laughing

Janet and I took him out for a VERY long walk today.  He was excellent.  I'd heard he was initially very nippy but honestly did not see any signs of this.  Even taking treats Clive was gentle.  He can be a little bouncy on the lead but he comes across very puppy like, LOVES a belly rub.  Likes to play tug with the lead although easily distracted with treats.

Clive met a few dogs out and about and although seemed a little wary was happy to say hello.

He is very cute.  His sit is near on perfect and with some love and cuddles and training, of course, will be a fab dog.  Go Clive! Very Happy

Clive was a star again today. He does bounce about a lot in his kennel, but when he's not there, he seems to be a completely different dog. He hardly jumped up and didn't play tug with the lead at all. It was just a nice steady walk, stopping quite a lot to sniff the bracken, grass, trees, puddles etc.
He loves his treats, sits and gives paw, loves being fussed and is a delight to be with.
I gave him a chew when I took him back into his kennel - he gently took it from me and went to eat it in his basket - so sweet  Very Happy

Very sweet photos - you can see EBT and JRT so clearly. The JRT is much more evident in these latest photos where he looks a lot jollier! Some family will be very very lucky to have this little lad! I've always lived with bitches but even I am smitten!  Very Happy

Have only walked Clive twice so far, but up to now he seems to be fine around other dogs - maybe a bit on the shy side, rather keen to meet. He certainly hasn't shown any aggression at all. When walking him out of the kennels, he doesn't seem to react to the other dogs there. Hope this helps.
