Boysie is an Irish rescue dog who is coming in tomorrow.
He is aout 10 years old, totally blind and will be very confused I would imagine!
He is coming here after being stuck in a rescue over there for over two years. They say he is not rehomable due to his condition (being blind), but we will see!
Boysie is good with other dogs, good with cats, very affectionate and loving with people and good with children.
The reason that the Irish rescue had to part with him is because in his blind way he wanders about bumping into other dogs (there are about 20 dogs free ranging at the rescue) and he gives them they hump and they keep attacking him.
Being that all of mine are old, lazy and just want to sleep, he should fit in fine.

Boysie is currently being fostered by Rachel (my work colleague) and is keeping our Stan company.
Lovely dog he is. Very confident and plays very well with other dogs. Humungous appetite and what a cuddly boy he is!
He is completely blind, but don't let this put you off! He is clean in the home, rarely bumps into things once he works out where everything is and goes out on walks very happily.
A tiny little sweetheart.

Aw bless him. He doesn't need to see to know he is safe. His future home will treasure him I'm sure. _________________ SHARONR - ADMIN

Fingers crossed for Boysie. All of you potential adopters : don't be put off by his blindness. Blind dogs have just as much love to give and once they work out the edges of their new homes, they're away! _________________ Disce quasi semper victurus vive quasi cras moriturus |

Spot is a super hero and now walks off-lead with complete recall. How about that for an old blind boy? And he loves to run so we have a short run (on the lead) in the evening if it's fine. Old, blind - bah! Not a problem for him at all. Old dog - lots of new tricks.
