How to attached a picture in a topic
First of all, the recommended resize for forum pictures is 500 or do in next step 640 X 480. If your pictures are too large you should use something like www.photobucket.com to resize them. You can open a free account and upload the photo. Then it will give you the option to resize it.
"To attach a picture - Just click on the "post reply" button at the bottom of the thread you want to post on. Then a message box will appear and under the large typing box (where you put your written message), and on the left, are the words "Attach File" written in blue - click on it.
Click Attach a file small red lettering under text box
Another box pops up and then to the right of is a button with
Filename: BROWSE for your picture filesFind the file/picture you want to attach from your PC and select it by clicking on it
Reduce image size to fit: : 640x480 - recommended for forum posting or have already resized your photos on your file to 500
Rotate image: : If needed
Post as a thumbnail : if desired (A small image which can be clicked on to see at full size)
File Description (optional):
All files will be viewable by myff moderators and must conform with forum terms & conditions. Images are logged against each user and forum!
and then click open on the bottom right. Then click "Upload File" at the bottom of the box and it should be done. Preview your posting to check it is OK before submitting. If that doesn't work it's because your picture is still too large and you will need to reduce the size first. Go back to Reduce image size to fit:
Looking forward to seeing your pictures!"
