Poppy & Abby An elderly couple of Australian Terriers around the 14 yr mark who are litter sisters; harmonious dynamic duo who are in very good health apart from hearing loss which has meant they need to stay on the lead outside. Both spayed, chipped, full dental recently & vax’d. Owner by a retired doctor in his nineties. He wants to make provision for them & is finding it hard to offer them walks etc, as visiting his wife in a nursing home. Very dear souls. Abby owned since pup; Poppy came to join from breeder at age 5yr, 6yr ago. Richmond Surrey

Moved Abby and Poppy to "fostered" as their owner is getting desperate. I met them and walked them, took them to the vets. They would mix and move in with any combination but are older ladies. _________________ You can't train the terrier out of a terrier!

Maureen above: Abby left and Poppy right..enjoying their first cuddle. Yes Maureen is delighted with the 2 little girls who are a little bewildered but have big smiles on their faces. Giant treat session fell upon them within 10 mins of arrival to their amazement and delight.
All three are going to have a wonderful social life together, and lots of chit chats

Poppy and Abby have had a Turkey and Vitalin lunch and are now curled up on Benjie's beds asleep and seem very contented.
They have been introduced to my friend Bill who is delighted with them.
They are very sociable little ladies and seem to like being here already.
I have given them a short brushing and will start a proper grooming session tomorrow. Best to let them feel settled before I do that.
Abby is on the thin side and needs to be given priority food in my opinion.
Although this breed is unknown to me the word that springs to mind is 'enchanting'....Thanks Dee and a special Thanks to Lynne for making the journey to bring them to me.
You really are 'Special' people indeed. (((((HUGS)))))
Tell their previous owner they will be loved and cared for here for the rest of their little lives. |

Both little girls fitting in a treat so far - and why wouldn't they ???????
So wonderful for these little ones to go from one home and having been loved straight into another where they are so wanted and welcomed.
Big thanks to Tina D for helping sort out such a loving home.
Just delighted _________________ Dee
