We have booked a stall at Mile End Park's parklife festival. It will include a dog show and the little info i have on it says that they attract over 2000 local vistors and is growing each year.
It is from 12-5 and is right near Mile End tube station (i will get better directions off of the lady)
Best of all the stall is FREE as we are a non profit making organisation!!!
I will attend this one with My trusty sidekick Lucie and hopefully the lovely Sharon But all are welcome!!!

I have had confirmation that we have a stall. We can set up from 10:30 and it is open from 12-5. Mile end park is quite long but i is at the bit by the Grove Road/Roman Road junction, about a 5 minute walk from Mile End Station. There will be a dog show and it looks like an art exhibition/stalls (there is a nature centre there too) and there is a pub and chip shop next door
i have asked her is she has a poster or any other info, if i get anything, i will let you all know.
We can't do any of our tombolas at this one cos the dog show has a tombola (obviously not as good as our one!!) so we will have to do something different. We are thinking of (among other ideas) a "everything £1" stall so that Sharon can get her East-London-fruit-and-veg-stall voice on |

I like that idea. Perhaps you could do a lucky dip too? That went down well at the BOSC event.
Thinking about that, it might be worth checking about the tombola - the BOSC did their own too but were happy for us to do one as well. Just a thought |

| No, she has said in her email that she would rather that we didn't do a tombola so i think we had better do something else. especially as we are getting the stall for free!! |

I was just trying to say that you put your passion for the dogs into drumming up business for the stall and make it impossible for people to ignore us (that and you are aspiring for a part in Eastenders!!! ) |

Tina, another idea to replace the tombola - at yesterday's event there was a 'roll a double and win a teddy' stall. It did quite well. They had a load of teddies and 2 giant dice. It was a Pound for 3 goes and any double won a teddy.
You could adapt it and use what would have been tombola prizes instead of teddies and split the prizes for double 1 - 3 and then double 4 - 6 (so all the best ones don't go too early!!) I don't think it needs to be giant dice - any would do.
And it fits with 'the everything a quid' theme
