How about a sponsord walk?

I'm looking to set something up in one of the London parks (Battersea Park?)

If I get sufficient interest, I'll set up a page on justgiving.com, with all proceeds going to RR AND we can bring our furry friends

I'm thinking early June (to give us time to raise some funds), and we could have a table selling cakes and drinks with all profits going to RR (which I'll also set up)

Any takers?
If so I'll look into the logistics, sort out the donations page, and set up some printable donation forms

You can count me in to give you a hand on the day as long as it's not the 6th/7th June. Can be free on the other weekends, ready and at your disposal. Very Happy

Have touched base with wandsworth council about making it an official walk at Battersea
Will let you all know and confirm dates etc etc

Battersea park have confirmed bank holiday Monday 25th May

so need to know who's interested in joining in??

There will be an admin fee but I won't know full details until 19th of this month when I meet with the events co-ordinator, so I will update accordingly

When we have firmed up the arrangements I will also contact London Pooches & Pals Meetup Group to see if they want to join us and help promote the event.

London Pooches & Pals, a dog walking group, have 24 dog walking members and Lisa, who runs the group, has very kindly sent them all an e-mail today asking if any of them would like to join us. Will keep you posted.
